I'm not sure if it's true or not but apparently the dwarves are working with the people on the other continent and they are bad (I do believe) and also (idk when probably during this arc or the next possibly) Arthur ends up snapping and killing Lucas (the blonde headed bastard that left them for dead in the cave in case you didn't remember) but he get caught and Lucas's older brother is pissed and Arthur is in prison
