Could you imagine killing yourself 4,000 times?! I feel like it would do so much damage to your mind and that you would have a very high pain tolerance or maybe not even be able to feel any pain at all NTM HE STABBED HIMSELF I feel like there was a lot of quicker ways and less painful than that but yeah XD
With those 4000 deaths, it's safe to assume that some of those attempts made him miss his preferred spot and had to bleed out or do another stab along with excruciating pain
You know what would be really fucking cool? If the one guy wasn't dead and he was like half zombie half human? Because he lost a bunch of blood and died from that but I find it weird that he didn't turn? because I thought it was supposed to be once they die they turn or once they get infected they turn? I'M JUST TRYING TO BE HOPEFUL OKAYY I really didn't want him to lose his friend this time and a superhuman zombie thing sounds pretty badass to me
well the zombie outbreak prob started somewhere and its some sort of virus or disease not a phenomenon of the dead, so he won't turn cuz his not infected

Idk if it's just me but.. Kayden should not just tell everyone with that type of personality that's he's his mentor it's dangerous for everyone since so many people are after him I AM SO GLAD WE ARE GETTING TO SEE HIS HUMAN FORM MORE THOOOO and I'm getting the feeling that.. something bad is going to happen to someone that he's close with this is a really sweet and happy story so far but they have come close to death so many times and I feel like luck is going to run out especially now that people are finding out he's his mentor and where he is now

OH so this has been happening for a long ass time is it some type of mirror demon? And they are able to see it because they have some closer connection to it? But it would seem like if this thing is some type of demon that can only show itself in someone else's reflection needs them both? The blonde gave into it a long time ago and is now trying to get our mc to do the same (toxic but he has always been like that just forgot about it and pretended) I wouldn't be surprised if it actually was a part of them something like a host of sorts but I don't get the purpose of anything I'm confused like why the hands? Are they meant to symbolize something or are they just there to drag the person down through the Earth? Why drain all of their blood and leave the evidence? To let more people know about its existence? Why? Can it only survive if more people know about it? Was it summoned by someone a long time ago to get rid of somebody but it just never left and has been searching for another person who can see it? Or has it just been here since the beginning? But I think some of my biggest questions are what is it? Why is it doing this? And why is it just taking random people and killing them? but honestly with every single chapter I grow more questions with no answers
