Both me and my boyfriend are autistic but in a very different sense
We both verge in different directions and this comic really speaks to me.
I’m a guy though,so the only thing I can’t relate to is the being straight thing lmao, but everything else in this comic made me feel welcome.
As someone who’s experienced heavy parental abuse and has gone through identical themes as the female lead goes through in this manga,I couldn’t be happier to see it all.
Yokoi is,to me,very much a reflection of my boyfriend and that also made me happy.
I’m not a big fan of the art style however you can tell that the artist is improving and putting in more work. All in all, this is probably the first Seinen I ever enjoyed
Transphobic undertones, bad art and no plot. What else did I expect from the Fujo community.
bruh why are you even here (︶︿︶)=凸
what? you read BL too though m
Thanks for time spent reading this even if it has no plot ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
What transphobic undertones?
transfobic undertones in a story that don't even have a trans person? please, explain. also, i hope you do your research about people who cross dress. or do you have this weak mentality that only straight women can use "men's clothes" while straight can never use "women's clothes"? or, in the end, are you saying this bullshit only to gain some attention?
Yeah I do,I’m a gay man :)
No,it’s clear arguments in this BL that is used for transphobia.
I didn’t say it was transphobic or the author is transphobic or the translation team is transphobic.
I said that it has transphobic undertones.
All arguments used against trans people have been used against the supposedly straight cis male protagonist. Every little point of transphobia is used in the comic without having any trans people which is what we call an ~undertone~.
That’s all
Welcome I guess ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
I like researching art styles and ways different artists write, even if I hate it
oh, i see, so you are here for the attention.
Attention for what exactly? I don’t post anything and I’m not a comic creator.
Why do I need blind attention from a group of people I dislike?
I literally just expressed my opinion, you’re just saying that because you don’t want to agree with me.
Okay? But why did you say "What else did I expect from the Fujo community"? What's that got to do with the manhwa?
I don't understand, is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Because it’s fujioshi content. Content made about gay men by women for women.
Blatant fetishization.
A bad thing
Oh, um, don't want to irritate you or anything but I just don't get it. What exactly makes it bad? Maybe I didn't read your comment properly but I seriously don't understand what you mean.
You won’t irritate me,don’t worry about that!
I love responding to comments that don’t immediately go for my throat and actually are interested in what I mean!
So let me explain-
When you trivialize a struggle of a minority group for your “comedic” relief, that’s awful. It’s making fun of struggles that people face daily.
Also, using the same minority groups trauma and pain as a fetishized plot point in your story is just as bad.
I just feel like there was no reason to make “haha look at how big and burly he looks in this dress haha isn’t this funny a man in a dress you can totally tell it’s a man in a dress and not a woman” jokes when real trans women are discriminated on that daily.
I hope this clears it up and helps even a little bit!
By the way,I’m not saying that the author absolutely wanted this outcome or to write it this way,I’m just saying how it reads as someone who’s trans myself!
Have a wonderful day :D
