I don’t get what he wants from her, he’s so unhinged. this whole deal is because he doesn’t want to get married, he prefers it when people act the way he wants them too so why is he mad with Adeline???? Why is he lusting for someone who is meant to be his sister??? Does he want an obedient woman or someone who’s not like the rest? I literally don’t get it. The fact you guys blatantly choose to ignore that they are brothers because “it’s a bl and it’s hot” is literally so disgusting. It kind of annoys me that the characters don’t connect the dots on why Diana’s divine powers are vanishing. The answer is clear; Dianas arrogance, ignorance, and her ego. It might be hard to see as she (still tries to) appears humble and kind, but it’s clear to everyone that she has abandoned her duties as a saint after rising in the noble ranks. Although she claims that she in no way desires material goods and the life of luxury is not a good lifestyle choice, Diana has become arrogant and is very clearly happy with her life as a crown Princess. You can clearly see that even though she (allegedly) loves her husband, she married him for her gain and to feed her ego. Evidence that supports my claim is that when she realizes her husband and her are having marital problems, Diana believes that Helios no longer trust her and says that Caelus would have never stopped believing her and he was the better option. Not only does this prove my claim but also further insinuates that Diana’s views and arrogance has strayed her from her old views and beliefs that made her a saintess. It’s also clear that being called a saintess feeds her ego and she believes that she is almost above everyone else since she was chosen by God. Clear proof of this is when she deliberately chooses to ignore Hestia (who’s foresight has been proven right time after time) and decided to invest into the Barons merchant ship because ‘God has chosen me so I’m clearly right’ (well it’s also because she wants to prove Hestia wrong) even though her divine powers are dissipating. Why god gave her divine powers? I don’t know, it’s not really something that I have figured out but my theory is that it just so happened to be her, she was just lucky.
I made this analysis a while back and I added a few things. I don’t know if you guys understand what I’m saying but I hope you guys get the gist of it. If you guys want to add anything please do!
