Novel spoilers ahead!
Starting from where chapter 43 leaves off (its been a week since I last read the novel so some details might be left out of proper naming, sorry), His arm was actually fractured because of Yohan so he has to wear a cast for about 3 months. Once Jun returns to class, As he opens the door to enter, Yohan is actually leaving as well, as Jun explains it "There was a strange malice in his eyes. It reached into some deep-rooted fear inside me. My mouth went dry. Yohan brushed past, shoulder bumping against mine. The gesture carried a dear sense of displeasure. That was when I realized— I was discarded. " Other students start picking up on that, and start harassing Jun. Yohan moves desk and stops eating lunch with and Jun and Jun just stays at his desk studying all day.
One time, nasty names and such were written on Juns desk, he goes to grab some rubbing alcohol and napkins to take it off, he finds that someone else had already done it for him, a half Korean half American student called Shin Jaehyun. From then Jun kinda takes an interest in him. From the looks of it, he was set up to be the second male lead. From Juns later evaluation of him, Shin Jaehyun is a nice smart guy but a coward. A person who tries to be nice because he doesn't trouble in his school life.
There are also small incidents of small things being thrown at him. The students who hang around Jun are Lee Seokhyun, Kim Minho, and Oh Yeonjun, they’re not exactly buddies, but not exactly enemies. If anything, they try to be nosy with Jun.
Go Yohan also starts to worsen things as sometimes he says things to drag Jun in the mud and humiliate him, Like saying "Kang Jun, stopping ruining the class vibe, will you? I'm trying to study and you're fucking my mood." Worse, Jun wasn't even speaking, it was the other guys. One thing as well, he stops calling Jun "Jun" and starts calling him Kang Jun.
The same day at lunch, Shin Jaehyun gives Kang Jun an egg sandwich as he noticed all Jun was eating for lunch was bread. Every time Jaehyun is mentioned, I'm pretty sure they always mention how American he is. (His nickname is "Yankee" lmaoo).
That day, Jun's shoes gets stolen, or rather people threw his outdoor shoes away and as he walked home in his indoor slippers, he realizes he stepped in glass and also needed stitches for that. It's insinuated that people had put glass in his sippers.
The day after, in P.E. they were playing soccer, which Jun had to sit out of because of his injuries, the ball was kicked to him and hit him straight in the face. Jun gives Yohan one more chance and straight up BEGS Yohan to say something, “Go Yohan, Please...,” but Yohan says nothing and the bullying gets a bit worse. Jun starts to straight up resent Go Yohan from there.
The day after during Lunch, Go Yohan sits next Kang Jun and starts being hella annoying, asking him where he's eating and stuff, and Jun responds like, yeah sorry I've been studying and plus im hurt, which is obviously lies, Yohan responds “you never said that?" and the whole situation is embarrassing for Jun. Yohan gives him an egg sandwich, seemingly jealous from Shin Jaehyun the other day. Jun says he doesn't want it and in result Yohan slaps him, a slap between a joke and something serious, enough for it to hurt.
The next day at lunch, Yohan buys him the bread Jun has been eating at lunch. Jun refuses and Yohan keeps insisting and he ends up giving up and starts smearing the bread (which has a chocolate filling) over Juns workbook. Jun isn’t having it and throws his workbook away. As Jun tries to leave, Yohan yanks him back inside the classroom and starts going on about why are you ignoring me, and when I speak to you, you answer and blah blah blah, and instead of entertaining Yohan, Jun just says “This is over isn't it? i thought we'd go back to being strangers" and to cut it short he's just saying that he’ll live in solidarity and asks Yohan to leave him alone. Yohan, having a short temper, throws a chair to the floor Yohan starts saying shit like “you’re doing this on purpose right? You actually want to be close again but you’re pride won’t let you,” Jun fires back, “you were the one that said this was over, why are you clinging like you’re regretting it?” And at that Yohan freezes. Jun takes it as a sign to escape.
Jun runs into Jaehyun in the hallway, and in an attempt to comfort Jun, he takes him to the art room (Jaehyun is the president of the art club). He tries to comfort Jun again and gives him yogurt. Jun tells him, “don’t cross the line.” Jaehyun then talks about his time in America and opens up about his bullying. In an attempt to make Jun laugh, he even makes a racist joke.
The next day, Jun stuff snacks into his bag for lunch. He leaves a bit early as because of his injuries, he takes a taxi. As he leaves, it turns out (the psycho) Yohan was waiting for him and tells him “let’s talk”. He drags Jun into the alley between their houses. As Yohan talks about making up, Jun is entirely focused on the arm on his shoulder. It seems he has developed slight PTSD from chapter 42. He tells Yohan, “okay but can we talk without you touching me?” And Yohan scoffs and says “you think I’m still into you? I only want to make up because my father likes you.” Jun then responds by saying, “I don’t want to, can’t we just act like we don’t know each other and go our separate ways. You can tell your dad we made up i don’t care.” Juns taxi arrives, so he attempts to leave, but Yohan drags him back and starts saying “Who are you gonna cling to now?” And goes on. He gets interrupted by Juns taxi driver and Juns makes a quick escape.
Later that day, Jun goes to the scrapyard (after he got kicked by the soccer ball, he met ha taesan in the infirmary and he tells Jun the stuff in the scrapyard gets incinerated on Friday), and he runs into Hong Huijun. One of Junwoo’s ex-lackies and seemingly new leader of that friend group. They start shit talking, and eventually things get physical. Not because Jun did anything, they’re just bullying him. Jun is really extremely fed up with his school life, so he actually fights back and beats the shit outta his ass. Apparently he had broken the guys nose. He uses the advice Go Yohan had told him before hand in earlier chapters to win.
Jun knocks out and then he finds himself in the hospital. His parents had flown back from their business trip and his mom raised hell about school violence and even got Huijun expelled. As he looks around, he finds Yohan sleeping on couch in his hospital room. Eventually, the two start talking and Yohan starts with his “let’s make up” crap, and Jun, fed up and exhausted, just gives in for a smooth rest of the year.
When Jun returns, things go back to semi normal. Many times, Yohan will act like Jun isn’t there the moment Jun acts like he doesn’t want him too, and when he does, as a reward, he protects and defends Jun like before. Yohan has mood swings I swear. Jun still very much hates Yohan, but he just toughs it out, as he plans to drop him after Highschool.
Jun goes to the hospital for a check up and as a way to skip and not see Yohan, he just goes around and about and bumps into Kim Minho. Kim Minho and Jun talk, and Kim Minho tells him, “Hey, let’s take down Go Yohan and end his reign, I have a plan.” June, is not really interested, but plays along and asks him what it is and Minho tells him, “Confess to Go Yohan, I’ll record it and embarrass him and beat the shit out of him” Forgot to mention, but Jun met Shin Jaehyun in the art room where Shin Jaehyun tells Jun there are rumors that Go Yohan likes Jun. Jun isn’t surprised , but he’s more surprised about how obvious it is and how many people already have figured it out. Which is why Kim Minho tells Jun to confess to him. Jun tells Minho he’ll go along with his plan, but asks him if he can do it after summer break. Minho gets pissed but tells him sure.
During summer break, Jun and his mother go to Go Yohan’s house as his mother offered to give Jun and his mom advice for college. Jun goes to the restroom and runs into Go Yohans sister, Go Rosah. Then Rosah reveals everything. That Yohan is a fucking liar. He lied about everything, about his family being homophobic and such. Even tells him the reason why their father likes Jun is because they can dump Yohan on him.
Break ends and Minho is telling him to do it now. Jun tells Yohan to meet him in the Music room later. Jun waits for Yohan in the music room, Minho hides behind a curtain and is recording everything. Yohan actually believes that Jun is about to confess his feelings, it’s noted that his ears are red. PLOT TWIST! Jun tells Yohan about Minhos plan and tells him where he is hiding. Yohan starts beating Minho up. Jun tells Go Yohan to stop because he doesn’t want to get caught up in a school violence incident again. Go Yohan just tells him to leave and makes a phone call to Lee Seokhyun and leave Jun did.
After that. Jun just lives mundanely, he just studies most of the time and such for the entrance exam. He starts making plans to ensure he doesn’t see Go Yohan again. Instead of applying to Business in Korea University like he told to everyone, he applied to the department of political science. He doesn’t plan to tell Go Yohan. And of course he gets accepted and he’s extremely happy to the point he cries.
By coincidence, Shin Jaehyun and Kang Jun run into each other in the city. Just before this Jun had told Yohan he was at home. They talk and Jaehyun mentions rumors, and Jun questions how ‘those rumors’ (the ones of go Yohan being gay) were able to calm down. Jaehyun asks him “You don’t know?” And Shin Jaehyun reveals a photo went around. (This is were I went crazy, I swear my jaw dropped. Go Yohan is a sick bastard, he’s insane). Jaehyun says it was a picture of Kim Minho and Lee Seokhyun KISSING IN THE MUSIC ROOM. (That’s why he called Lee Seokhyun. When I tell you I was sick to my stomach.) it’s obvious to everyone that it was forced because Jaehyun mentions how they both were crying in the photo and how bloody Kim Minho was. Jun likes Jaehyun as just a friend and has given up on making him his next crush of sorts.
A little later, Jaehyun and Jun go out to a cafe, just quickly to hang out. And that’s when Yohan spots them. Jaehyun is scared of Yohan, and he goes pale as fuck. Yohan starts acting buddy buddy with Jaehyun and questioning how they met (aka he’s mad Jun lied). He’s obviously kinda of tormenting Jaehyun because he’s mad and jealous and Jun gets fed up and dumps his coffee on Yohan and yells to him “we’re not friends (Jun and Yohan) leave me tf alone!” Jun grabs Jaehyun and makes a run for it, but Jaehyun like the coward he is, goes back to aplogize to Go Yohan and Jun is just like “whatever”
After that, Jun doesn’t go to school for the rest of the year (there's only 2 weeks until graduation at this point). Go Yohan constantly texts and calls him, and Jun blocks him. Once, Go Yohan was infront of his house and Jun tells him to get tf out or he’ll call the police (note Go Yohan was intoxicated) and Go Yohan goes on about that everyone at home hates him. Kang Jun is tired of his bullshit and tells him that he is loved and tells him he knows he’s fucking lying.
The day of graduation comes and he debates on going, but he ended up going. During the ceremony he bumps into Go Yohan and Jun fucking BOOKS IT. He runs and goes into a classroom where he collects himself and Go Yohan gets in somehow. Go Yohan hugs Juns legs and starts SOBBING, saying “thank you, thank you thank you.” In a moment of feeling pity for Yohan, Jun kisses him. I’m pretty sure it was a quick peck. The scene is memorable because Jun says, “Surprisingly, my first kiss didn’t taste like lemon or lime; it tasted salty and wet.” And he leaves for home, and I’m guessing he didn’t go through the whole ceremony because it’s mentioned later he didn’t pick up his diploma.
When he returns home, he packs up immediately and heads for he U.S., where his parents are, and leaves his phone behind.
After winter break ends, he comes back from the U.S. and heads to his dorm. He applied for a dorm while he was there and even bought a new phone. Once he comes back, he notes that the other side of it is empty, so he hopes maybe he doesn’t have a roommate. ER ER WRONGGGG. Later after all his lectures end and he’s in his room debating whether he should get dinner, he heads out and when he opens his door , he finds GO YOHAN outside the door, and as it turns out, Yohan is his roommate. Last time Jaehyun and Jun hung out, Jun said he’ll never see Yohan again, and Jaehyun basically said “never say never”. Yeah, Jun thinks he pulled some shit off but it was entirely coincidence.
Go Yohan, is extremely confused. He actually never thought he’d see Jun again. Jun rushes to his room and locks the door. Apparently the doors have some keypads because Go Yohan is able to unlock it and he says “They tell you to change the password once you settle in.” Go Yohan tells Jun that he really won’t do anything this time. Yohan is more docile, and more obedient, exactly like a dog. They talk and Jun realizes Go Yohan doesn’t have this rosary. Go Yohan tells Jun he doesn’t believe in God anymore and he’s just a bastard because he never granted his prayers when it came to Jun.
Later, I don’t exactly know how it happens, but Jun runs into Minho. Minho starts lashing out on him because of what happened, and tells Jun if he drinks out of the soju bottle he’ll forgive him. Jun refuses, he knows there is something wrong with it. Well turns out he was right because Minho gets pissed and spills the water, but apparently Yohan was nearby and jumps in between Minho and Jun. turns out it was fucking ACID and it burns Yohana right shoulder and his clothes and skin starts melting.
In the hospital, Jun is in Yohans room. Of course, Go Yohans parents show up, signing off on surgeries and skin grafts. Eventually, it’s just Yohans father and Jun in the room. They have a conversation, and Jun asks him, “Do you love your son?”, he responds “Of course I do. I rank him second.” Jun (doesn’t say it but he thinks it) calls it bullshit and how messed it up it is to rank his children.
Later, Jun goes to Go Yohans house to collect some of Yohans things, like clothes and games for entertainment, and he runs into Rosah, again. She reveals to him that after the day Jun blocked him, Yohan went absolutely insane. He started bugging others about Jun, even bugging the teachers. He was completely desperate. He went to church, prayed and eventually threw a tantrum and loudly exclaimed “fuck u” to God and went as far as ripping his rosary apart in church. Jun is just like “wtf” and Rosah points out that his face it red. Rosah teases him, not even playfully, straight up confused on how that could get Jun to go red. To shut her up, Juns her “why did u lie to me? Ur father said Yohans second.” And go Rosah was completely confused, responding “huh? He told me I was… second..” that’s when Jun learns, yeah Yohans father is fucked up and a liar, and promptly leaves.
In the hospital, Jun and Yohan talk. It’s chapter 20, the last chapter of the novel, and it’s called “Go Yohans Religion”. Go Yohan just says “I’m atheist now, you’re more useful than the guy up in the sky.” Essentially, Yohan is saying that he’ll belive in Jun, and that Jun is his new religion. Jun doesn’t believe him, so he tells him “I’ll show you.” Go Yohan kneels to the ground, grabs Juns foot, and slowly starts kissing his feet and goes up from there. And that’s where it ends. It’s assumed they made out because in the side stories, Go Yohan asks Jun if “they could do what they did in the hospital” and they made out.
I haven’t read all the side stories yet! But I’m almost done (schools got me busy). In the side stories, it’s just a small continuation of their life. Jun and Yohan aren’t exactly together or friends. They dont have sex right away actually. They first actually just rub their dicks together, and Yohan later fucks Jun in between his thighs. Not until a few chapters later, they actually do have sex. That’s where Jun, in a delirious state from the pleasure, ends up confessing to Yohan and telling him that’s he’s actually liked him since high school.
If you get anything from the story, Yohan is just a complete sociopath, with a messed up home life. You can tell the children of the Go house value their father’s opinion, which was why he was really angry when Jun pulled that stunt in the dining room. Go Rosah mentions that Yohan really treasured his rosary as it was a gift from their father, when he ripped it apart she was completely stunned. The children seek nothing but validation of their father. Yohan says he likes Jun because the two are similar, and he never elaborates further.

Hi all, so i finally took it upon myself to read the novel and the spoilers really weren’t fucking lying when they said this is where shit gets bad, for fair warnings and further here’s what will happen (Id you do not feel like reading spoilers then i highly suggest you let this manhwa marinate for a few months or even a year bc from now on the chapters are going to be pure pain for MC.

My memory and telling skills aren’t too well but here’s what best i can explain.
After being “embarrassed” by Jun the ML takes the mc up to his room and argues with him, they argue badly and it eventually turns physical (both violently and sexually?) One thing it sure though it that he fractures the MC’s arm, they argue more and MC eventually leaves but ML goes “If you leave your dead to me.” or some shit along those lines and MC ends up leaving either way which completely destroys him later on.
He gets bullied and alienated bad, border-lining Taesan (the kid who was getting bullied in the earlier chapters), yes it gets physical, from bluntly talking shit to him/loudly behind his back to putting glass in his sandals and taking his shoes so he has to use them (he didn’t know there was glass) he found out while (before?) walking home and it spilt open his foot bad, he crashed out and had to go to the hospital and get stitches :(.
I’m telling yall the bullying literally made me want to cry. He’s still trying to be level headed but with the fact he has a fractured arm and can barely walk (he was told he needed crutches but refused because he didn’t want to look anymore weak.) Now while Go Yohan (ML) didn’t actually participate in the that sort bullying (he eventually did) he still TECHNICALLY did by allowing it to happen and not letting them stop. Jun (Mc) even gave him one more chance to redeem himself when one of ML friends purposefully kicked and soccer ball into his head and made his nose bleed. It was honestly heart breaking because Jun literally pleaded with him and said “Please Go yohan.” and Yohan did nothing. If anything he made it worse by eventually being alone in the classroom with Jun and making two classmates think he beat Jun up (he didn’t he just made noises)
While Jun was getting bullied a new cutie (?) named Jaehyun subtly helps Mc, feeding him talking to him giving him the art room yada yada, Jaehyun is described to have brown hair, tall, presumably rich because he’s a transfer student who comes from america, Jun refers to him as “LA boy” and mentions how his way of grammer and talking it sometimes incorrect due to his american origins.
More bullying shit happens and eventually people come to confront jun and jun gets DOWNNN he’s small but using techniques he saw ML use against Junwoo (his old crush) literally helped him get his lick back, He broke the guys nose but also ended up in the hospital.
My memory is bad but i believe this happens AFTER ML went to MC and said along the lines of “Forgive me already and we’ll go back to normal.” and thank GOD MC shuts that down QUICK. Makes him look stupid and tells ML to just never speak to him again and if anything to tell ML father that they’re friends to get him off his back! Yohan gets violent and puts his hands on Jun by pushing him against the wall when he tries to leave bc taxi driver pulls up, he sees how Yohan is with jun and immediately tries helping but Jun is saving yohan ass while also trying to get away from him. Jun tried to leave but yohan catches the door and goes on about JAEHYUN LOL and says he’s an idiot and it Jun hangs out with idiots he’ll be perceived as one, he also mentions if Jaehyun is gonna be the one who jun “latches” onto now.
long story short
To be completely honest yes Jun does end up forgiving (kinda) Yohan, but mainly due to the fact that Yohan came to visit Jun in the hospital after Jin’s fight and they had a deep talk. Jun forgives him and also tries to get along better with Jaehyun (he’s tryna rizz him up in order to get over Yohan) Jun ends up finding out Yohans and fucking freak who lied about literally everything to Jun and Jun deadass behinds to DESPISE Yohan, he resents a lot because he doesn’t know who Yohan actually is. He almost sets Yohan up by letting Minho (side character who leached off Junwoo and Yohan) who’s surprisingly manipulating and observant, Minho tries to manipulate Jun to make Jun confess to Yohan in the arts (or music?) room and let him record Yohan to show everyone Yohans gay lmao. But Jun being a bad bitch literally snitches him out WHILE minho was hiding waiting for Jun to confess to Yohan, safe to say Yohan BEATS his ass BAD. Along with other people who spread the rumors. (Yohan was 100% expecting a confession though but Jun was like nah here’s a plot twist lmao.) This event makes Yohan even more obsessed with Jun? But unfortunately for Yohan Jun knows how Yohan truly is and he pulls away more and more. Eventually he becomes very distant and makes Yohan grovel.
Jaehyun is a coward, Jun acknowledges that Jaehyun is extremely smart and observant (Jaehyun noticed immediately just how much of a sociopath Yohan was and how gay he was for Jun) and Jun (while he did at one point think of him as a potential suitor) ends up having no actual feelings for Jaehyun but eventually likes him fr as a friend.
The go out and eat and then get coffee and YOHAN FINDS THEM AFTER JUN SENT YOHAN A FEXT SAYING HE WAS HOME Yohan was obviously pissed, he got fake buddy buddy with Jaehyun and Jaehyun was pale asfffkkk and then Jun was like (I owe Jaehyun) and he gets his coffee and THROWS IT ON YOHAN . Yohan is in fucking shock and is genuinely baffled. Jun goes off and he’s like “You son of a bitch You were never my friend you asshole” calls him a liar and takes Jaehyun hand and tries to dip but Jaehyun that little pussy was like “I’m going to apologize to him.” and Jun was like whatever and he goes home. Yohan is calling and texting his phone non stop and Yohan eventually texts back going OFF . Yohan then stands infront of Juns house and Jun talks to him while Yohans drunk, Yohans ass is STILL lying and Jun sort of calls him out like and Yohan literally is in shambles. It’s deadass that one tik tok audio “Can we get back together please?!” “no.” “AGHHHH!”

More bullying shit happens and eventually people come to confront jun and jun gets DOWNNN he’s small but using techniques he saw ML use against Junwoo (his old crush) literally helped him get his lick back, He broke the guys nose but also ended up in the hospital.
My memory is bad but i believe this happens AFTER ML went to MC and said along the lines of “Forgive me already and we’ll go back to normal.” and thank GOD MC shuts that down QUICK. Makes him look stupid and tells ML to just never speak to him again and if anything to tell ML father that they’re friends to get him off his back! Yohan gets violent and puts his hands on Jun by pushing him against the wall when he tries to leave bc taxi driver pulls up, he sees how Yohan is with jun and immediately tries helping but Jun is saving yohan ass while also trying to get away from him. Jun tried to leave but yohan catches the door and goes on about JAEHYUN LOL and says he’s an idiot and it Jun hangs out with idiots he’ll be perceived as one, he also mentions if Jaehyun is gonna be the one who jun “latches” onto now.
long story short
To be completely honest yes Jun does end up forgiving (kinda) Yohan, but mainly due to the fact that Yohan came to visit Jun in the hospital after Jin’s fight and they had a deep talk. Jun forgives him and also tries to get along better with Jaehyun (he’s tryna rizz him up in order to get over Yohan) Jun ends up finding out Yohans and fucking freak who lied about literally everything to Jun and Jun deadass behinds to DESPISE Yohan, he resents a lot because he doesn’t know who Yohan actually is. He almost sets Yohan up by letting Minho (side character who leached off Junwoo and Yohan) who’s surprisingly manipulating and observant, Minho tries to manipulate Jun to make Jun confess to Yohan in the arts (or music?) room and let him record Yohan to show everyone Yohans gay lmao. But Jun being a bad bitch literally snitches him out WHILE minho was hiding waiting for Jun to confess to Yohan, safe to say Yohan BEATS his ass BAD. Along with other people who spread the rumors. (Yohan was 100% expecting a confession though but Jun was like nah here’s a plot twist lmao.) This event makes Yohan even more obsessed with Jun? But unfortunately for Yohan Jun knows how Yohan truly is and he pulls away more and more. Eventually he becomes very distant and makes Yohan grovel.
Jaehyun is a coward, Jun acknowledges that Jaehyun is extremely smart and observant (Jaehyun noticed immediately just how much of a sociopath Yohan was and how gay he was for Jun) and Jun (while he did at one point think of him as a potential suitor) ends up having no actual feelings for Jaehyun but eventually likes him fr as a friend.
The go out and eat and then get coffee and YOHAN FINDS THEM AFTER JUN SENT YOHAN A FEXT SAYING HE WAS HOME Yohan was obviously pissed, he got fake buddy buddy with Jaehyun and Jaehyun was pale asfffkkk and then Jun was like (I owe Jaehyun) and he gets his coffee and THROWS IT ON YOHAN . Yohan is in fucking shock and is genuinely baffled. Jun goes off and he’s like “You son of a bitch You were never my friend you asshole” calls him a liar and takes Jaehyun hand and tries to dip but Jaehyun that little pussy was like “I’m going to apologize to him.” and Jun was like whatever and he goes home. Yohan is calling and texting his phone non stop and Yohan eventually texts back going OFF . Yohan then stands infront of Juns house and Jun talks to him while Yohans drunk, Yohans ass is STILL lying and Jun sort of calls him out like and Yohan literally is in shambles. It’s deadass that one tik tok audio “Can we get back together please?!” “no.” “AGHHHH!”
