I Become a fool when it comes to my Daughter
Death Is The Only Ending For The Villainess
When The Count’s Illegitimate Daughter Gets Married
What's Wrong with Secretary Kim?
The beginning after the end
alright guys so here’s my honest opinion about it. If you like reincarnation, or hell you can even hate reincarnation, read this. Personally I’m not a fan of reincarnation, I believe it’s way too overused and the plots are always the same, especially when romance is involved. But lemme tell you right now that anything you think this comics gonna be like, it’s not. I came in here expecting to drop it right away, hell I even dropped it chapter one and came back later when I had nothing to read and was bored. Pulled a whole all-nighter I got so immediately addicted, so let me talk about why this is worth a read.
First of all, reading the first few chapters you start to think “ah another op mc” but hear me out, sure the dude breaks all laws with how powerful he is, however looking at it in the broad scope of things and especially in the later chapters, he’s shown as someone who’s incredibly powerless who’s getting wars and trauma pushed onto him because they think he’s powerful.
(Warning Spoilers, but spoilers will end soon)
I’ll give you a quick comparison of them. When he’s a 4 year old and forces himself to fight, he gets absolutely destroyed by bandits who are extremely weak, despite having all four elements (when it’s rare to even have two) and sword techniques from his other world. On top of that in recent chapters, you think ah the dude is probably the strongest guy now because his body is now developed to hold his powers and sword skills (I’ll talk more about that) however he couldn’t even sense the presence or draw his sword quick enough to block a lance’s attack (a lance is considered one of the strongest mages in the continent), however the enemy (which is the other continent) was able to kill that same lance in one hit. Using that comparison, do you see how powerless he is? So it’s not another op mc thank GOD
(Spoiler over)
Going into what I mentioned before, one of the reasons he seems powerless is because it actually takes a realistic approach to the story (ignoring all the fantasy tags), meaning that the knowledge he had in his previous life is practically useless because the dude even knows he’s uncomfortable in his own body and can’t do anything about it because the skills were made to shape him, not him as Arthur so the dude would dedicate years of his time to try and reshape those skills to fit him. Thank god it’s not a know it all Mac who’s overly powerful and immediately knows how to do that stuff
But that’s enough about that, let’s talk about romance. It’s not an immediate in love thing and don’t worry, though it may seem like it, it’s not a harem. Sure girls would get crushes on him and confess but he made it basically law to reject anyone who even shows the slightest crush. Including the female lead. Because shocker the 50 year old or older man who gets reincarnated isn’t going to be interested in a 5 year old. The romance has a really nice pace and they’re actually really cute together. He doesn’t know how to react with emotions like love and tells her to at least wait for him until they’re older. And she’s of course an amazing person and does. Honestly they’re both really good characters
And overall. The pace is amazing, not just the romance, it skips things you don’t need to know and includes a lot of stuff you probably didn’t need but then realize you did. Also the family and friend dynamics are so realistic and fun that honestly it yards to hate a single character who isn’t an enemy. Plus the fight scenes are SO cool.
But I do warn you, though, don’t get attached to anyone, this comic does NOT give a crap who you like or hate, they love making it super depressing using torture or death of any character including the mc and anyone you thought was too important to die. It’s actually amazing how they can make you laugh one moment and then literally the chapter after make you cry and feel dead inside (just like the mc). So trust me, you will get attached and feel like you are the mc or apart of the story. Just don’t get too attached :)
(Also don’t assume what you think the plot is either than being a reincarnation story, they’ll throw in a new enemy every second that you’ll have no idea who the true antagonist is)
That’s it! Overall I’d say a 9.3/10? Possibly even more, it’ll be a worthy read and good
