Goda as in Subaru Goda the novelist? I'm pretty sure he is still alive and kicking all the way to the present. If you mean Oda as in Toyokichi Oda, who was left on a sort of cliffhanger, then he at least survives the war, considering that he still later on in life marries chizuru and has children with her. But in the present he is already dead, but to be fair, he would be like 90 or 100 years old if he wasn't. If you didn't mean any of these two characters then sorry.

The ML is super and is a nice and caring person, but maxi is annoying the f@@ck out of me. No really, i just cant like her. In the beginning it was kinda understandable because of her Abuse from the previous family, but riftan express and shows his feelings towards her very often, but you cant see any character development from Maxi, she is always scared, negative and extremely pessimistic. She always do the same facial expressions, so i dont have any nerves to read the manga, i’m just sad for my boy riftan ┗( T﹏T )┛
On the novel riftan lacks communication skills, he often scares her and she misunderstands him a lot, so it takes a lot of time for her to open up to him.. she's a very wounded person, it takes time to heal psychological traumas, but whatever, do as you a like lol

I don’t think that’s the case. Riftan constantly says misleading things and does not even attempt really get to know her. Every time she’s says she likes something he always assume she is lying and looking down on him because she is a noble lady. She is a person who up till now has been constantly told she is worthless and a disappointment. And with Riftan constantly assuming she is this noble lady who lived such a lavish life she feels as though that is the kind of woman he wants. They both have the wrong idea about each other, so every time she reacts in a bad way he assume it’s her being scared or looking down on him and everytime he gets mad she assume it’s because of her short comings. In my eyes this is all Riftan fault in the first place. Had he not came with his assumptions even though he only spent one night with her and just got to know her as a human, I believe she would’ve open up easier. It could’ve been a lot smoother with someone who doesn’t put their judgement on her and accepts her for who she is. Eventually that will be Riftan but like he doesn’t have any social skills and neither does she(her more understandable than him). But like cute couple anyways.

So im actually watching the Live show and they kinda seem like they are in love, but some people says that the Live show is way more changed then the Novel. So i dont understand do they love each other or not(〜￣△￣)〜
hi! i heard that the live action is way more censored than the actual novel! but in the novel the two main guys do end up together :) i haven’t watched the live action yet, but i have read the novel so i can assure u they do love and end up together. if u like this, i recommend the novel for this and the author’s other work, heaven’s official blessing! the novels are way more detailed and are super interesting ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ !
In the live action it's more "bromance" than "romance " but anyone that knows the novel knows what's really being said in that subtext

The live action portrays their love in a more "low key" way than the novel but it's still a love story and the writers, directors and actors have done a great job in showing the love without it being censored. I was so surprised and amazed how they made it work.

The MC ends up with the Black King. The brother is actually a green flag. He loves the main character until the end. Except for one event, he does nothing harmful to the main character. The King is actually slowly poisoned by the main character, but the main character develops feelings (very complex and truly deep events occur) and heals the Black King who is nearing death, with his horn.
