I hope he can reconcile with his mom one day, let’s remember she was an abused woman, her partner beat her a lot, and abused her psychologically, yeah he was a kid and also needed help but she was like she said just trying to run away. Like Hyesung did when he left home. The dad is scum, and the mom definitely made mistakes but until you are in that position can you truly understand why they did what they did. Thankfully, Hyesung found Dojin, but he could have ended up with an abusive partner too. So I understand he is not ready yet but hopefully he can forgive his mom eventually.
