I have to say I usually don't read this kind of plot with pets etc, but this one has some good points: a plot, smut is only from 29th Ch on, it's cute but not exceedingly so, the uke is not that silly and had some backbone..and the seme is not toxic

Oh, that's easy - Kenja no Mago. It's not that it's anything awful, but the plot of this story is completely cheesy and predictable, the MC is powerful to the point it's not even interesting, the logic is warped, and the love interest is the clingy, silly kind that irritates me to no end.

i fervently dislike anything by ogeretsu tanaka (except neon sign amber). all her mangas have brutish semes with idiot-looking faces, they are forceful to the point of hurting the ukes but somehow always get forgiven. escape journey in particular ugh
