Why are the ML and FL 5 years apart… it means that they met when the villainess FL was 8 years old while he was 13… now she’s 15 and he’s 20, pursuing her romantically…? Or did I misunderstand? I hope I did cause if I didn’t that is very unnecessary pedophilia in this story other than that it’s very good
well this is a historical romance so it’s not unexpected, 15 was when girls became of marriageable age back then. If it makes you feel better she is mentally an adult since she has memories of her past life so it isn’t too bad.

I’m very glad I didn’t drop it at the beginning. This story is great, it’s not that rushed and explains the feelings of the characters well. It’s a light read with no hard feelings, perfect for a late night binge. Love is a complex emotion and very hard to put into words. There can be platonic love, and I’m glad it was included here.
