I've read the novel... There's something that probably most people not gonna like (romance)... I stopped reading immediately after that.
I've to say I kinda disappointed, I just hope they didn't include the romance from the novel in the manga.... if not I will cry...
Umm when I read the movel (currently at 1090 something) I haven't felt that much romance, like there was flirting, omitted with Irene, and some stuffs. They are romance related but theres not much of it though?!?!?! ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
Yeah I still have the novel bookmarked though I am nor reading it bc the romance is so annoying, I was proud of Grid once he started ignoring girls after his - - with Irene but the way the novel is written is just :/
uh i'm arnd chapter 970 and honestly the romance is pretty annoying but i've just skipped over it every time it shows up and i really haven't missed anything vital to the story so,,

Yeah I'm disappointed that Grid fall in love with another NPC.. Mercedes (?). Their interactions are awkward as hell and tbh most of the romantic/flirtatious moments are pretty meaningless (you can skip it without affecting the story). Pierot's romance plot is also meh. Also there are indications that his son is gonna be a player surrounded by harem.

Yeah Grid married an NPC, Lady Irene and have a son with her. I thought the romance plot gonna stop there but naw.. while still married to Irene he started another romance with Mercedes (plus Yura and Jisuka both pursuing Grid). I don't get the appeal of harem, I wonder why a lot of authors think that being surrounded by multiple sexual/romantic partners is the ultimate dream of male audience.
I still follow the novel tho.. just skipping the romance parts.

I feel like they try to attract more male reader by making it into harem or something. Didn't mean male reader love harem, some don't even like it.
Bruh! Like seriously I give this manga 4 star because it's good but when they chnage FL skin color to white! I change the star to three! Like omg can't they stay with dark skin tone?! She beautiful the way she is! Now she look like every single FL that gonna end uo with some prince or knight stuff!
Just because she got divine protection from freaking angel or whatever doesn't mean her skin tone had to change.
I like it especially Heil and River together but if the author decide to make Khaol x River happen I'm gonna flip the table.
I feel like Kaveri (It's that how you spell his name) suffer from Khaol love. He didn't feel anything and just have emptiness.
I hope Khaol just let go off Kaveri see how much that guy suffer because of Khaol selfishness. Heil and River deserves alot more love but I had the feeling the author gonna make something unexpected.
