But do each of the kids (the FL and her siblings) have different mothers? And if they do, has no one taught her dad to wrap it up???!!

I knew the change of art style was coming and it still took me by surprise

I don't normally mind, but...but the other art style was so fantastical and cute

Wait the FL & ML have met before? And why are her eyes and hair different colours?
How did the previous dynasty the princess was from end? Did her former husband kill everyone and keep her as his personal talisman?
Does her powers only work if she's married to the person? Also, why was the ML sent there? For his family to restrain his authority? And kill him, so he can't return?
So...I've read the spoilers, but I'm so confused because the artist usually depicts MLs that would do *anything* for their MCs. They're not perfect and yes they can be very obsessive, but they're not mean...
While the ML for this seems to be in denial, obsessed without acknowledging, and physically violent ╥﹏╥
I know there's a novel, so maybe the tone of the manhwa is 100% going that route or maybe it'll deviate and be a little less toxic??
(Sometimes manhwas change direction and tone from manhwas, but it depends on so many factors )

Upon reflection while the Emperor sucks hard, it seems he is both weak in personality and weak in authority within the palace
An Emperor shouldn't need to make excuses for not wanting to return to their palace to the Empress Dowager. And yet he genuinely seems panicked and out of options for excuses to use（￣へ￣)
Moreover, in chp.18 the Empress Dowager has already been made aware of his improved health. How? She must have eyes in the remote palace they're currently residing in.
It seems the Emperor's position in court isn't strong and the Empress Dowager seems to be the real power behind the throne...
So I could handle (while greatly disliking) the FL's dad being an arse. The FL's mum had her reasons, but handled it badly.

However, from what's been hinted at with regards to his treatment of Michael...
I get why we greatly dislike the ML right now. He could've EASILY taken both women onto the horse or at a minimum ensured everyone was okay.

However, from the initial chapters it seems he doesn't remember the face of his saviour (likely due to the trauma of being tortured and incarcerated).
Also, he believes the FL's dad only has 1 daughter ╮(￣▽￣)╭ And the FL has been described as a very well paid (read as greedy) stand-in.
Why would he think she was his saviour?? Or a hidden daughter of the duke??
It seems through all the ML's hardship in war that one of the only things that kept him going was his saviour...
So now that he finally has her, he's willing to do ANYTHING to keep her. Even if it means going against his instincts and values...(￣∇￣")

Our FL is so smart, but doesn't notice everyone either repeating what she's just thought or looking at her intensely everytime she thinks something shocking?
Why couldn't it just be blood relatives? Otherwise surely the villains will also be able to hear her thoughts?? .( T﹏T )

To be fair to the FL, just like the ML needs clothes and equipment to maintain a status quo, so too does the FL need dresses & outfits to maintain her position as a 'duchess' in high society.
It's definitely silly, but it's also essential to positively engage with the nobility.

I just dislike when MLs and those who identify as men in general act like a FL or person identifying as women is 'frivolous' if they're interested in fashion.

The boss/ML is violent, ruthless and expects 24/7 obedience.
