I dont think the redhead really loved the blackhaired guy tbh. Its just that the black haired guy was always there for him whenever his family had some issues so he started to get really dependent on him. Also, their relationship is toxic asf. But i also dont ship the black haired guy with the mc bc i think the mc deserves WAYYY better.

Checking the raws, you could see the difference between when the uke was with redhead and with the MC. That should say something about how he actually feels. He is just forcing himself to like the MC.
But guys, like both of you said, the uke was in a toxic relationship. They (the redhair and uke) didn't have an relationship tbh. And I think thats the reason why he's so "cold" with the mc. I don't shipp them, but I think we need to wait to see how the relationship between the mc and uke will developing.
In my opinion, I dont think hes forcing himself to like the mc, i think its just because they just recently met so hes not really that comfy with him yet compared to the redhead who hes know since his highschool days. Just give him some time, he'll probably catch feelings for the mc soon(if he hasnt already yet).
