From what i can gather so far:
- the world in which mc was reincarnated into was a world he created
- he died in his modern day reality and his consciousness transferred to his created world
-glarus, the god of mc’s created world, realized that mc’s existence in it was destroying (?) it, and so glarus tries to kick mc out
- mc leaves that world but is now trapped in a different dimension (kinda like limbo?), Inas is still in the old world
Also, it seems like inas is simply just an npc. He may have the ability to think of himself as an “outsider”, but since he was created alongside the world by mc, he has no true “consciousness “. In other words, he’s not a real person. Unless i suck at reading comprehension
I really LOVED this story right up until it got a little too meta. I feel like had the story ended much earlier with a slightly different approach (aka the later half of the story got a little messy), this would have been such an all rounder.
I will say, though, i still love this manhwa nonetheless. The plot, while getting pretty unnecessarily convoluted, is GREAT. Like ive never seen a plot plotting so hard. Also, the art is so fire. Like idc if the plot is convoluted (but still very good), the art itself does it for me. 10/10 fire manhwa
From what I understand with Inas, he's not really an npc per say. He specifically was created in the same way the MC created the world. I think the idea is he had the potential for consciousness of sorts which did occur later but before then he was on a set track like everyone else. And that potential is what sets him apart from the actual npcs of the world, because they can't gain consciousness (I think?).
yeah i think inas definitely has a consciousness compared to the other new world characters, but i always regarded him as an npc bc he isnt really “human”(?). I guess i just expected inas to also be a human from the real world who reincarnated into the game world, and when it was revealed that he is also mc’s creation, i just lumped him in the npc category
Isnt it interesting that aeju has written an obsessed brother character-that-kinda-belongs-in-fucking-jail twice now?
The glasses brother in hogu hagyeongsu was honestly completely unnecessary, but imo the entire existence of that manhwa is a fever dream (a lowkey enjoyable one, for masochists) so i didnt think too much about it.
Dohwa…well he also feels a bit random, except this timw there’s no easy cop out because love shuttle actually has a coherent story. Was it absolutely needed for his character to get in to way of dojun? Especially in a side story? Idk man i feel like aeju was def fighting some demons. And the demons won.
It’s fiction, so i wont clock aeju too hard for these…more than questionable characters, but i do feel like aeju enjoys this brother trope quite a bit. The most frustrating part is how they are done with no care or nuance and just end being a character with no dimension or depth.
I will admit that glasses bro in Hogu Hagyeongsu is different from dohwa, but they give off the same vibe. Had this side story been longer you BET dohwa wouldve gotten some fuckass redemption and suddenly he’s valid again. I love aeju but i feel like if they liked this brother trope so much they could have put more effort into it.
Yes this is vwry long i dont touch grass but also my last gripe with this side story is the fact that we basically don’t get confirmation on whether or not they are blood related (maybe we did, idk, got too tired to actually read it cos i felt like a hamster on a wheel). Obv it’s heavily insinuated that they are blood bros (also if they weren’t, why would mom name dojun “challenge”? Like bro just adopt an omega), but i feel that the reason aeju didnt mention it explicitly was prob bcuz they didnt want to make the incest stuff too…blatant? I mean come on you literally wrote hogu hagyeongsu it’s fine we’re already traumatized enough
Anyway yes this is my 5 paragraph essay with no thesis just pure the thoughts of a non-grass toucher
indeed, but idk like the way they drew dohwa like the odd one from day one was sus like the eldest bro is sweet dad is sweet mom is sweet dojun is a tsun tsun dere and doyun is a tsun baby girl (and baby mama n wifey) but dohwa's hair texture doesnt look all that similar to neither momma or papa.
bruv was always remembered as the borderline psycho from both dojun and doyun, glad doyun tripped dohwa for making dojun cry.
like i get dj's reacting he was in a position where he cant run to his mom, run to doyun, or lock himself up in his house awy from dohwa and jinyoung was wishy washy. But he didnt encourage thaat behavior. also glad he kept saying how gross dohwa's being compared to all other bl bottoms who melt and are drawn with a horny face. it still felt too unfinished and taehan's papas story too wasnt written.
good point with adoption, i think in this case what the parents thought was a omega girl or boy that looks like momma with having dad's characteristics since they have sons with mommas persona and dads looks as a lovey dovey couple but that became the source of their kids insecurities since they misunderstood and eunsung took advantage of it
To be completely honest i enjoy an entertaining story and the characters were very much that. But the mc is INSUFFERABLE and has no backbone. also there are a billion plot holes when i went back to reread it, so i would say go for it if ur looking for a light read. u really cant think too hard abt that story though
JICHANGGGGGGGGGG WHYD U HAVE TO LEAVE US SO EARLY
