Does anyone know what’s up with the eyes? Sometimes the MLs eyes are red and sometimes black. The same with the MC she has red tint in her eyes too. Is that just a color choice by the author or is it apart of the plot/story?

I get that she’s subtly ‘lecturing’ the kid but using magic to throw/drop a knife at the kid’s feet till the knife is LITERALLY STUCK IN STONE seems like a bit much.
