As someone with these types of depressive episodes that are becoming more and more frequent, this hits home. But not in a bad way. I have this weird thing where I can't allow myself to cry or get angry for myself... Self-pitying either. But I get highly upset for others. And so, I usually use fiction as a way to get those emotions out... So having, this time, a character going through hardships that are so close to mine... I think it helps a bit, in a way.

Well! I believe this is an occasion for some quick education on translation!!!
There is a reason why we can't use machine-generated translations to properly translate: A language and its dialects have a cultural identity. So you need to take into account the cultural contexts, expressions, dialects, cultural references, etc of both languages to properly give justice to the original meaning and impact of a sentence.
A cold translation with no identity will give nonesense as some expressions just...don't translate directly. That's without speaking of cultural identity and history mixing into a language, leading to the creation of an expression that makes a reference to what is perceived as a 'general knowledge'...but for someone outside of the country or culture, there is no way of understanding at all!
Example: Despite speaking the same language, the Quebecois(Québec, Canada) and French(France) don't use the same expressions and wordings, which does lead to misunderstandings between both populations even if both are fully fluent in the same language.
Don't believe me? Here is a link of Quebecer expressions and words broken down, in English. It ain't that easy!

I think I can understand the general things that are discussed...If the uploading team is willing, I would be ok with reading your translations and sending you a more fluid and comprehensible interpretation. I only speak and read English and French, though. I am also comfortable translating in between those 2 languages. But only Fr-Eng and Eng-Fr. Nothing more. So I won't be able to help you with the translation job in itself....just the grammar, sentence formulation, and wording.

I barely understood the dialogue. I am so sorry. I am very grateful to the uploader but this might need proof-reading...The translation seems machine-generated and it doesn't make much sense...I enjoyed the art and appreciated the effort, though!

Yea, it does look MTL'd, there's also the possibility of old confusing language being used, but I doubt thats the case. tl;dr it was a bit of a rough read with out of place dialogue. (especially when the characters faces dont fit the dialogue which makes me wonder what the characters are talking about... like when the eunuch says the emperor looks scared (or if they meant scary) and there's words like "tired" on the emperor's face)

I'm the translator and typesetter from Cupcake Scanlation (scans group who picks up this manhwa and upload the announcement). We're deeply sorry. Chapter 1 was not our upload. We're also shocked and have no idea who uploaded the chapter 1. Perhaps the uploader-san started to translate this manhwa ahead of us.

Ah I see. I wasn't unbearable, but it did remind me of alot of chinese manhwas that have hundreds of chapters, but the first chapters are such gibberish that I just skim and try and figure out bits and pieces and hope it'll make sense later, but I just end up exhausted and dropping it after chapter 50. lol

Someone, please pick this up! The art is gorgeous and it's such a shame to not be able to indulge in it more!

I mean, I am a Quebecoise. So for a moment, I was wondering if I was just biased because I just couldn't deal with the France-French expressions, idioms, and the like but ... I realized pretty quickly that I wasn't the only native speaker that couldn't handle French translations.
When a sfx in the background in english is *sob* whilst in the french one is *ouuuiiiinnnnnnnn* ... Cultural differences aside... No one can take this seriously. Those who can must be superhumans or not know any other language.
Unless a piece of media is originally in French, I usually only turn towards the English translations because of that very reason.

Suspension bridge theory, anyone?

I found 2 definition of this, feel free to reply cause I'm not a pro in this field.
1)This effect is to make the one you love easier to fall in love with you in the situation that you two SHARE the experience of feeling anxieties and fears.
2) His fear of falling down causes his heart to pound. He then mistakes that for the heart-pounding feeling felt when falling in love.
If it's the 1st, Kaminsky & Yoon are not in the same standing/situation, only Yoon feels fear & danger which is Kaminsky. Like commenter above said, Kaminsky is the bridge.
If it's the 2nd, then the Bomb is the bridge. I guess u mean the 2nd one?

They legit treat her like older brothers. Overprotective and a bit awkward older bros.
I'm a big sis of 6. I've slept in the same bed as my siblings as a teen. There was no sexualization towards my siblings, who were children and toddlers at the time either.
I didn't see anything inappropriate being done or told about her and she was never sexualized either by any adults.
I see grown-ass men with complicated hearts learning to care for someone through the pure love of a child.
Alex and her might become a thing and I actually hope so. Nothing inappropriate with a 1-year age-gap.
All the adults just want to dote on her for how sincere, mature yet childish, straightforward and quick-witted she is.
They feel like they need to protect her and shower her with love and attention.

...Was I the only one who knew of what pearling was? I mean...Never saw one, but if you know a bit about body modifications...you end up knowing about it...Also pearling can be done in the labia, for women. ANYWAYS, it's not that unusual just like some girls get their nipples or clitoris/clitoris hood pierced.
