My guess is that Aquila can only turn back time to a certain timeframe, hence why he cannot prevent the hand from getting ruined. He didn’t love Lamia or care about the Orphe’s at that time so he had no issue with ruining it. Hope that helped (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
