I put this on my list but i still haven't read the kings maker. My first question is will I still understand the plot of this triple crown without reading the first season of kings maker. Second, If i really need to read the first season, which one should i read next, the 2nd season or this one first? (=・ω・=)
I think you should really read season 1 first to see how their relationship progresses. It’s their whole origin story and all. S2/Triple Crown has references to s1 events like the effects of the previous king and other characters back stories. This one is just the mature version of the second season with added smut scenes.
The original Kings Maker entry on mangago covers both seasons but you can just read the s1 on there and read s2 here for the extra content. I just highly recommend you read it in chronological order. The plot is very good (and the “plot” too ofcourse).
