The seme literally didn't have any feelings for the uke when the uke was still a child. Like the seme saiid, he felt sympathy and urge to take care or to take responsibility for the uke because of the situation. It isn't grooming if what he felt was just a sense of responsibility for the uke, and it isn't grooming if the seme did not have malicious intents/sexual fantasies towards the uke. No, I don't see fiction as reality nor was I disturbed by the story since there are worse out there. I simply stated why people are saying it's grooming since the OP questioned it.

Nowhere in my comment did I say I dislike it, it disturbs me, or it affects me negatively, I don't know where you got that from.

That's why I included "if" because I'm not sure what you're really feeling about the manhwa. We are communicating through commenting/texting so we won't be able to fully express what we feel about a certain thing. I thought you yourself was saying that the seme "groomed" (like from the word grooming, where the person makes bonds with a child with the intention of manipulating, abuse, or worse sexually abuse them) the uke.
