this manga is a sequel to ijiwaru shinai de ( http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/ijiwaru_shinai_de/) the first 3 stories are just a compilation of one-shots. chapter 4 and 5 is the main story.

this had so many potential, if only it was longer, maybe around 2 or 3 volume.

Hahahaha I didn't read yet, but far as I saw with your summary the mangaka really thought "wow, how can I make a story with the most cliche yaoi plot ?"
'like a sugar' is a main story of this one (kinda like a prequel, i guess), it's abt the senpai (shima) x sousuke couple as the first story. 2nd story is abt taguchi x morisaki, who are the main characters of 'bitter like light'. & the 3rd story is abt sousuke's brother, shouta x sensei couple.
nagakawa (the first guy introduced in 'bitter like light') is just another extra supporting character, i guess. and he's first introduced in his manga (so we dont have stories abt him in sensei's previous works, but let's hope there's one in future). bcs this manga is supposed to be a spin-off of another manga, it's to be expected that most of the readers alr know that this manga is abt taguchi x morisaki couple.

the uke is dumb lol he believes everything his sister said, blindly. but he cute. honor student. seme is a jerk. he loves sex. i'd say he's an ikemen (+ the arts pretty) & he got no problem attracting girls but somehow the uke feels better than those girls, he said. the seme is free-spirited but he got attached to the uke. i love the chara development. from meeting up just for sex, seme also invites uke to his house bcs he just wanna be around him, he enjoys being around him even w/o sex. both develop feelings hehehe yep! overall, everything's good!!
