It up to you but you should just skip S2. Because all it is, is just push and pull where it look like MC won't end up with the one he ended up with. Also there's no development of them fixing their relationship and just mc pushing the ML away and in one chapter after a timeskip mc instantly accepted him without seeing his change. So if you want see redemption from ML it ain't gonna happen.
Ok first of all ignore the weirdo that tried to describe the story. Not even close to it. Basically the time skip helped the main couple have time apart to fix theirselves because they felt sm pain together. Them being apart for so long made them realize how much they miss being in each others lives and they met again and got together because they still have feelings and never moved on exactly but back healthier so the relationship isn't toxic anymore since they grew from that as time went by

Yeah, I’d also say that the ending for the main couple was a bit rushed and not developed in the best way, but if you like a story that makes you theorize a lot you should read it. There’s also a few beautiful phrases here and there, the author is very poetic in what they write :)
