Cesaere did a real number on Ruby in the novel. He threw her against the mirrors several times and ripped out her hair. The novel described that Ruby couldn’t see because her face was drenched in blood from the glass shards.
When Izek finally finds them Cesaere had Ruby by the hair and was about to strike her.
The novel said the whole building was supposed to be shaking from the force of Izek’s sword against Cesaere’s shield.
where did y’all read the novel? please. I'm literally crying in frustration right now.

I think they changed it coz it will not be suitable to be drawn like reading this, it looks so brutal

Am I the only one who notice how good the panelling on this manhwa kinda gives me the feel like some manga panels does, i love how detail oriented the author is. That one panel where yoonsung opened the umbrella and the umbrella was drawn in a way to depict the shake when irl umbrella is being opened, that one panel that gave a motion frame as hakyung reached for the tree to hold on during the storm. Even the the emotions you can subtly see on their faces, and how the author just draw, it's like a movie with an amazing cinematography im really geeking out if this comic haha
It could've been such a wholesome story if it weren't for the blackmailing this is disappointing and the art is good to
