That’s a very strong reaction. If appropriate gender x appropriate gender is so important for you, go read straight stories. Even those have ABO if that’s a must.
My all time favourite ABO story is alpha x alpha. (Define the relationship). It can be so much better than all the stereotypical stuff.

I love all of fargo’s stories, they’re the reason why i enjoy omegaverse. The female alpha one was especially unique.

Why do I hate alpha x alpha? Bc it’s basically like reading a regular ol yaoi/bl. Omegaverse adds flavor and something different. Alpha x alpha isn’t unique. It’s basic asf again. It’s counterproductive to the tag “omegaverse” in my opinion. And now ofc one of them is gonna be in pain when they fuck bc of the knotting element which is also not my fave to see when it’s alpha x alpha

Oh and if your problem is specifically that Byul is an alpha, then I don’t know what to tell you. We knew this before. And if that’s not your problem, then I don’t get what you imagined based on previous pictures, that you feel cheated out of now. Write your fanfic for it then. You don’t have to read it if you’re so against the author’s own idea.

THIS. What i thought they were gonna do was make him a really pretty alpha that people mistake as an omega and get with an omega that looks like an alpha but would be an omega. I thought they were going to go that route, going against their perceived looks. But now I’m wondering if they’re going the route of his uncle (who overcame the typical pairing) or his mom (who got the wrong diagnosis).

I’ll definitely check it out! I’m basing my dislike for alpha x alpha in this universe by what fargo has introduced and implied in this world.

But this i do agree with, at least let it be a switch. What I’m afraid of that from all we’ve seen so far, Byul will be bottom. I’ll still read this, fargo makes even cliche readable. But I will be disappointed.

It’s not that byul is an alpha. I was so excited when it was revealed he was an alpha. I imagined fargo was going to do something unique again like a pretty non-typical alpha with a tough looking non-typical omega. Fargo has a pattern of making the smaller looking characters the “bottom” and just looking at byul and the male lead…you can tell where it’s going. It’s disappointing but whatever. I won’t read it. Just rely on spoilers to see the other characters when they’re featured bc I do want to see where they are now and their kids
