they get married after five years bc she forgives him then they have a daughter. the end.

WHY he hates her family: ml's family were killed by demons so the kingdom was basically under attack and he sent a request for help to fl's family but they ignored it bc they had a condition or deal or whatever. his kingdom is demon-infested and poor so it's mostly the higher-up's fault for not maintaining it, but he blames her family bc they never helped him. he thinks fl was a spy for her family.

ml turns into a "green flag" (lmao); he apologizes, keeps his distance, gives her the space she needs, and is gentle and more open with her after the timeskip. i mean, i guess character development. ml NEVER touched fl physically. all he did was neglect her however never stopped the abuse from the maids and his aunt. he did fire them and overrule his aunt when he found out(?) or saw it for himself.

ml's MEMORIES: were NOT his own doing. he went on a mission to close a demon rift but got hit by a magician (owen)'s spell thus his memories of fl disappearing. owen is said to be a weirdo and obsessed with fl.

bern reincarnates into the body of calian whom was assassinated in their past life due to the competition of the crown prince's seat. due to this plot by calian's brother and mother, bern does his best to keep his body alive bc of how weak it is and from the attempts of murder. the king (rumian) becomes a better person and father (not sure when, but he does), the queen (silike) dies later on by execution with the help of franz, and the mage (arsen) who killed bern in his past life will become calian's loyal guard. bern's body doesn't exist in the current timeline, so his brother (chase) is now the only prince of their kingdom and he has memories of bern from the past and reunites with him as calian (the kingdom of secretia know about bern being calian). kyrie is the loyal knight to calian bc bern made him his knight in their past life, so he found him again. franz was the tyrant king; in the current life, he's more annoying than evil and doesn't want to become king and hopes for calian to take it (franz is the one to reverse time in their past life, but he doesn't know why or remember).

extra things: calian's mother was an elf named freya (making him half-elf) whom was friends with kyrie's and hina's mother, whitrin whom died from an illness like her human husband (supposedly, silike killed them). callian is engaged to demeria but it's more of a familial relationship; they love each other, but there's no romance. bern and franz actually "met" in their past life after bern's death; franz gave bern the sword he bought from an auction they were both at bc bern bid for it but it ended up going to franz (i think this is when franz reverses time???). there are actually THREE timelines: bern reversed the time first but he doesn't remember bc that is the "price" for reversing time, creating the second timeline; franz reversed time the second time and doesn't remember, creating the third and current timeline. bern as calian remembers his life as bern from serenti's help whom "switched" their souls, making calian "die" and bern replace him. novel is currently at 500+ chapters and will not have an ending, so the webtoon will have to figure it out. there is A LOT of context missing from the novel not adapted into the webtoon, so i suggest reading the novel for a more in-depth view, then reading the webtoon for closure (ending).

overall, this shit is confusing but a story about calian improving his relationships with his brothers and finding friendship.

there is a VAGUE harem thus far, SPOILERS:




raon (mc) and runan (childhood friend) are in a sort of-ish puppy love, but it's only implied due to raon breaking runan's brother's brainwashing of her, and runan gifting him things in thanks (so more of a platonic sibling bond). martha is raon's rival in combat, and she wants to become stronger to defeat him. encia is an artifact maker whom became ill due to a plot by derus(?); she fell in love with raon at first sight bc he's handsome and his mother asked if he ever wanted to, he could take her as his wife, but raon said no thanks. denning is the leader of the black market and offered herself to be his wife, but he again said no, but he'll think about it. burren is the only male who's in(?) this love circle but it's just a platonic rivalry bc raon saved him from his father and brother (who brainwashes him to become the perfect successor) after they abandoned him.

the only one who seems to figure out his past is wrath, but he doesn't pry. raon's father is a guy named edgar whose father is lecter (demon sword mercenary), and he left bc edgar had different practices from the family(?).

overall, this seems very political??? idk. there is no ending as of yet (600+++) chapters and ongoing, but i don't think i'll read it any further.

there's not much spoilers for this tbh as the novel barely got picked up. others have said it's rather boring and mc is not as smart as they make her to be; passive, not a genius, cannot execute plans, etc. the duke is her stepfather so they aren't blood-related (not 100% sure about this).
