one thing i dont like about transmigration, they care too much about their past life, or the original story. this creates a cage for the character. idk its so cliche bc its so common in storries like this, where people are unable to move on
Yeah I agree if I suddenly die and remember everything from my past life transfer to another world leaving behind my alive and well loving family and the friends that I love enough to consider family I would soooooo totally forget them forever as if they never existed living in the house of people I don't know and make them replac my old family that I don't care for anymore
I mean if you suddenly died and unexpectedly appeared in another world, wouldn’t you be worried and sad about leaving everyone you cared for behind? I’d say this ‘cliche’ is perfectly understandable if they had family and friends who were precious to them

Yes which is something they need to go through first for a bit of character development! It would definitely be hard to accept the loss of your former loved ones when it’s so unexpected. I think it makes the story a little more realistic in that aspect ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
If you suddenly died, met some unknown people who claimed to be your parents, suddenly realized that you died and that you reincarnated, would you act any differently than Finea? If you suddenly got reborn into an unknown world, to unknown people, and you had to leave your family behind, would you not want to go back? Please stop acting immature, think from the character's perspective as well.
