sovrenn January 18, 2024 7:32 am

this sucked so bad i only finished it bc y’all said the ending was worth it but i just wasted my time. prob one of the most pathetic “relationships” i’ve ever read about

I can kind of see where you're coming from. personally, I didn't really like the ending but that's mainly because it felt like the author turned it into a wattpad story. I loved the overall realistic plot and how all characters had their flaws but I feel like the most realistic and suitable ending would be Raymond and Ian both moving on from each other well at least Ian would move on.

I haven’t finished it yet but wth I feel so icky that he’s pretending to have feelings for the princess, getting engaged to her and literally sleeps with Ian at the party. I loved the art part of the story, and the story line was ok but wtf is wrong with all of the characters

sovrenn January 15, 2024 6:37 am

this was so much better than the main story imo

made me extremely uncomfortable

so isis is trying to destroy seth's soul so she can free anubis and take revenge on osiris at the same time? idk thats what i got from this

sovrenn March 17, 2021 10:06 pm

why would seth leave & kill a bunch of lil boys?? also i may have forgotten but is there a reason why seth was so abusive towards anubis even though he actually loved him?

    Jayjay March 17, 2021 11:15 pm

He killed those boys out of frustration whenever they turned out not to be Anubis, whom Seth was desperately looking for since he had ran away. Anubis had ran away on him in anger and had been missing for quite a while (Anubis had actually gone to Duat and met up with Osiris during that time), so Seth was desperate to find him, morever because the missing Anubis was still "human" and that put him in danger along with making Seth unable to sense him out in order to locate him... The only way he could find him was by checking boys one by one, to see if any of them was him, that's why he asked the humans to bring him boys that fit Anubis' description: so he could check them one by one and see if any of them turned out to be Anubis. Each time they turned out not to be Anubis, Seth killed them out of frustration (Horus was only spared because Seth had already gotten high and drunk up to his eyebrows, and thus mistook him for Anubis).

can’t wait till anubis becomes a god

sovrenn February 19, 2021 4:39 pm

can someone explain what sekhmet meant at the end because if set’s weakness is his own doubt then i don’t understand what that had to do in that situation

    DearMsPotatoHead February 19, 2021 4:49 pm

    I'm confused too

    Jayjay February 19, 2021 6:37 pm

Well, Horus remembers what Sekhmet said because he now understands Seth's feelings and behavior are all basically like the ones of "a cornered animal". Horus remembering Sekhmet's words right now serves to show readers why he's not resenting Seth for trying to kill him right now: he knows now for sure that his extreme angry reactions and lashing out are not because Seth's evil, but rather just because he's afraid and he feels threatened. And the reason he feels this threatened and afraid is because he's lost faith in his own strength. This is a weakness because it induces Seth to do extreme things that he would later regret, and moreover it causes the people he lashes out at, like Isis, to react with extreme actions in response, causing a chain-reaction that could end up getting Seth killed by the actions a desperate victim like Isis could set in motion, out of sheer desperation. Horus has realized that every time Seth lashes out at others, he sets in motion a vicious cycle of action and reaction, revenge and counter revenge, that would only end up getting many people really hurt in the process (among them, also Seth himself) and Horus' finally realized he needs to put a stop to it before it gets out of control and the consequences become irreversible.
