I really loved that story. Not only the slight drama with the uke's family (and that heartwarming scene where he called the stepmom mother for the first time) but also that the uke was such a strong and serious character. Made him even cuter being an absolute airhead regarding love and sex. X'D
This is 1 million times better than any omegaverse fucked up shit (EDIT: the psycological fucked up stuff as well as the brain-less slut in heat plots I mean...there are just way too many of them). And so far it's sexy too~. :'D

Don't get me wrong, I read omegaverse stuff too because it HAS potential, but in 90% of the cases that stuff is just waaay to messed up and pretty much just justifies sexism and rape towards the omega's by 'they are in heat, they want to be fucked'. And the characters in question behave accordingly even if it makes no sense based on their previous behavior. They just become brain-less sluts, which is nothing I'm interested in. That's what I meant with 'fucked up shit'. I guess the fans could have asked, but all of a sudden that's not a thing anymore. ╮(^▽^)╭
This is what I don't like in omegaverse too. I really love it when the plot doesn't involve rape or fucked up scenes but there are too few mangas with that setting. :( Mangakas can make it so that they don't have these rape plots.. I just wish they will be more creative with omegaverse. There are a lot of things that you can do with it.
I absolutely agree with you. There is lots of potential but somehow all mangaka turn to the rape and mentally messed up stuff. I mean, they could even stray a bit from the original Omegaverse idea and change things to make it less rape-y all over, but it seems noone's interested in that. :/

Well, tbh I don't like this stuff. But I'm not totally opposed everything in genres I usually don't like when I like the plot or it is done in an alternative way. Exceptions confirm the rule and so. ;-) What bothers me in this genre and is absolutely not my cup of tea is the mating (or more like the "legalized" rapes like you mentioned before) and "mpreg". Some time ago I stumbled per chance across something in this genre that wasn't so bad but that was a DRRR!! fanfiction. No rape, no mpreg and stuff. Just a lost cute little omega who struggled to deal with his repeating inconvinience and an experienced and calm alpha who tried to help him through the heat but respected him as person. Actually it was more like BDSM with heat circles. ;-) Oh, and the ongoing story by Zariya. The one with the werwolfe guy. That is ok too. Does that even count? Well, I don't know. The MC was in heat at least. ;-)

Same here. I'm on the verge of backing away from Omegaverse since I start to really dislike it due to too many messed-up stories but once in a while I come across pieces of pure gold and it lightens up my hope. :'D
"Legalized" rapes, EXACTLY. That's the main issue I have with this genre too, it really makes my stomache turn most of the time. The male pregnancy is just a bit weird for me, but I can deal with it. It would make more sense if the Omega's had a vagina tho (I mean, let's be honest, they are literally just "bitches to be bred by an Alpha", so why not give them a vagina? Female Alphas have both genitalia as well, so... ╮(;▽;)╭ ). I gotta read that DRRR!! dj, it sounds like the simple plot things I'm always looking for. Gotta love the BDSM extra too. <3
