While we may not get to know both characters in detail, we get enough info for them to have some depth and feel real. Both of them are incredibly likable to me personally and I adore their healing romance! <3
I think it would have been nice seeing this go even slower in terms of them catching feelings and doing the therapeutic sessions, but it works well as is. And since it has a sequel apparently, I can get my fill of these two precious guys over there. :)

A short but really lovely story worth reading. Give it a go, I think it's not a regrettable choice. ^^

Very damn sure this is NOT finished. The last chapter very obviously isn't an ending chapter, so tf is going on here? (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

The story is really interesting, something new and realistic tbh since this could so easily happen irl (needing to break a language barrier, etc.).

The characters are interesting but due to the rather quick, not to say rushed, plot they all feel a little too shallow or shoehorned here and there. You just don't get to know them as well and info finds no time to settle since the next happening is immediately there to keep you busy.
This story could have done better with 5 to 10 chapters instead. Getting to know each person more, etc.. It would also have helped the emotional immersion, let's call it. Even the ML crying did not have the heavy impact it could have had if the build up was done better by letting the story work with emotions and immersion some more. Which can really only be done by giving it more time.
It is still a good read tho, despite being so quick. It doesn't feel rushed like we usually see in actually rushed plot stories, which I find odd. Can't put my finger on why. Tho this is definitely pointing towards the writing ability of this author being good, I'd dare say.

The art might need some getting used to due to the style, similar to stuff like Haikyuu!! does, but it's really nicely drawn with lots of detail and effort. :)

Worth a read if you're looking for something different and quick to read. So give it a go. ^^

This was just getting good, don't let it end!!!! (/TДT)/

These two are just such lovely characters! And the overall story is incredibly intruiging. It's a shame this finished as it did. I would have loved to see them explore their relationship more, being all awkward and adorable, and practicing powers or having encounters that make them trigger or earn control. I would LOVE a sequel! Which is a rare occurance for me, but this story really has potential for a longer series.

This is a really lovely story, not entirely but close enough to a must read. Tho this depends on taste maybe. I for one find it really interesting and worth every minute. :)

First of all: the artwork is often giving me Boku No Hero vibes. Which I love~

Good artwork, interesting yet simple story. And realistic too!

I would honestly love seeing more of them. They have a such a natural and realistic way of acting and thinking, not making a big deal out of things guys would not make a big deal out of. I really REALLY need more of these realistic guy BLs. <3
I would love seeing them dating, prepare for college or such and living together. Encountering many different things in life and just casually sliding through life to a grand happy ending. And I say this as someone who doesn't care for seeing the slice of live, already-a-couple, part of love stories. So I think that's something. XD

Both of them are interesting but I can see how maybe the author didn't have much more ideas for them and that's why it's just a short story. It works well as one, that's for sure. Which makes me think this might be a good anime candidate. Would give the genre some more positive rep and be a simple, easy to digest plot.

Definitely worth a read for those looking for something absolutely drama free and non-dramatized (the latter being very important btw, this is so rare). A nonchalant little love story worth reading I would say. :)

I honestly love this more natural, realistic story.
The characters feel realisitc and have their own struggles in life, which makes them feel incredibly detailed and endearing. And the overall story of both of them are well written and make for such a great heal-each-other story if matched up.

Character designs are awesome and the art is nice. I was honestly hoping for another creepy moment after that sleepwalking scene. This artist has decent skill in portraying creepy moments! Would like more of that. Despite being a scaredy cat. XD

As for the westerner outrage going on.
No matter your personal opinion about the tanning remark in the comedy extra chapter: I hope people didn't honestly give this a low rating because of THAT one sentence. That's just nonsensical and silly to judge a story for and it's sad people actually give this well written story a low score because of one remark they think they need to white knight for asians (who generally do not care about these remarks, unlike westerners, from what i have heard over the years).
Judge the story, not one sentence, if giving a score. Because this is precisely actions that make ratings so useless these days, which is not a good thing in case that needs mentioning. ╥﹏╥

MID SPOILER WARNING because itherwise it makes no sense.

I'll be honest: The drama aspect was NOT done as well as it could have been.
Somehow it lacked emotional impact and was written somewhat strangely so I didn't know whether or not the MC was right or not. And the reveal of Haru pretending was feeling random because of it.
If however the author had included chapter 5.5 IN THE STORY at any point prior, this could have worked SO very beautifully. Would have been a real tear-jerker moment in the end with MC misunderstanding and then talking to haru in the park.

It's really disappointing the author included this crucial information about Haru's mental state/true feelings as an extra, which is usually ignored or just treated as not relevant to the actual story. That was simply a bad choice.

In a way I also think this might have been a bit aimless in writing, maybe that's why the crucial info was added at the end, kind of like a sidenote I personally make in notebooks "include this and that over here so the reader know this was going on". That's what it felt like, a rough draft point being overlooked or someone finishing a story and then thinking: Oh, THIS would have made that moment better, let me add that real quick!

The writing overall is really great but this little mistake turned out to be what made the story loose points in terms of writing. Which is a shame since, if you rearrange the extra chapter INTO the story in your mind afterwards, it would be really impressive. :')

I still recommend it, but would suggest treating the extra as an inbetween shortly before ch. 5 so it makes the story more impactful.

I wish I had Kii's level of shamelessness. FFS this kid has zero filters. XD

This being part of his personality was somehow predictable to me, given he lacks the emotional understanding of things to such a high level, but it is still SO unpleasant to see unfold.

I personally would honestly haul ass out of this town. Because let's be honest; if someone has an agenda against you and they frame you, nobody will even care to listen to rhyme, reason or be on your side.
This town is dangerous and part of me thinks, the kids' biting the dust when sick might honestly be a better option in this world than being part of this messed up community.

I know this is gonna turn around into a likely lovely, healing romance due to the ML being somewhat of a doormat and being a hopeless optimist, but it's personalities like these I cannot stand if viewed realistically rather than through a fictional-filter.
The main character is definitely dislikable. Him lying and playing with people just cause can NOT be excused by trauma, it's explaination sure, but not an excuse. He has quite the bad personality and I for one would NOT bother looking for a relationship with someone who lies and plays like that just for the hell of it or to amuse himself, looking for another dose of self-made confirmation bias made real. It's just not a likable trait, trauma or not.

Depending on what exactly is going on with the potential married ML, this could be another dislikable part for some readers. Tho my thought was somehow: His wife ran off ages ago and he STILL keeps thinking she'll come back to him. It would perfectly suit his doormat-ish character paired with optimism. XD

It does seem well-written so far, so I'm looking forward to more. I hope the poor friend who played cool girl will get together with his curly-haired co-worker in a seperate comic. I'd love to see more of them.
