The overarching story is interesting but the execution in both art and writing has it's issues. The heavy topic of the story as well as the lukewarm ending for the villains isn't my thing a sit played out, but it's still a decent read regardless.

Shoowa already showed she has issues with certain parts of writing or randomness when it comes to panels that show things that are just somehow out of place (random expressions especially, without connecting to dialogue or happenings), this is present here alot too. Especially with jumping around, not explaining certain things and just it being left to the reader to just 'deal with it' instead of setting up an explaination.
Shoowa really needs to try and get a little more detailed when it comes to these things or set them up differently, since it would enhance her stories alot.

The art itself is decent but there are also issues there, mainly the expressions and facial movement that should be there for some expressions. The artist has alot of problems with certain angles and especially the mouth's surrounding skin and muscles look uncanny due to them basically not 'moving' when making expressions. Especially the open mouth panels, front and side view, all look the same. Very 3D-model based without movement of muscles or actual expressions. It's uncanny to look at because this is what you'd see when you take a mannekin or even unalived body and just open their jaw. Much like in a horror movie or such. Which is why the art is often unpleasant to look at. It feels incredibly artificial and 'off'. Pushing many faces into uncanny valley.
The artist should really work on that aspect as well as making the fight scenes more impactful. They look quite stiff for some reason.
personally not a fan of the artstyle in general for BL. Smut scenes look weird in this shounen style for some reason. But this likely depends on personal taste.

The thing I noticed as well is that there is basically no emotions. Maybe alot due to the art issues 8expressions play a key role in this) but overall it just felt bland and emotionless in basically 95% of the comic. And what little emotions did get across where over quick or just too little. This may be a big issue for some readers, others may not care. It depends.

Again, the overall story is decent, but the execution has it's issues which made it not as good of a read as I hoped it would be. But this likely depends on what one is used to and knows in terms of art and writing quality, what the personal taste is, etc..

Give it a go, but be prepared for the aforementioned things.
I personally am not a fan of it due to the technicalities but maybe you'll like it more. :)

I keep coming back to this comic every now and then and I still keep thinkin gwhat an unpolished gem this is.
It feels VERY rough draft-ish and feels all in all very unfinished. BUT. What we DO get to see is incredibly interesting. All characters and the humor is amazing and the strong story that is there is so heavy and begs for a long format re-work! It's truly wasted potential given this was left in a rough state. But as a writer, I somewhat get it. Sometimes you just don't have enough ideas to make the heavy plot perfect, so you shelf it. But sometimes what you have is just too dear to NOT put down on paper. That's what I think this comic is. It's what it reads as to a T.

All in all it's not a satisfying read because of the unfinished and unpolished feeling to it, but I wouldn't wanna miss it. It's a great snippet of a grand story. And at leats I can use it as material to daydream a perfect 'full version' to my personal tailoring. Which is what I suggest everybody else does too.

Worth a read but be warned about the things I mentioned up above. It's good but unpolished to a high degree. View it as a rough draft of a shelved story that was just too good to be left untold in at leats the basics. These can be fun to read in their own ways tbh, Iberico being a good example. :)

Seriously, ditching someone because they bake alot is THE dumbest thing i have heard.
It's not like he takes a funnel and shoves it down your throat. Stop making excuses you lazy dumbfuck!

Good thing sensei is available again. He met his perfect match thanks to that dumbness. Looking forward to seeing their sweet romance~ <3

I really love this one. It's a realistic story in many ways and all characters feel like people, not caricatures of an idealized idea someone had.
Their struggles and emotions hit very VERY well and I honestly teared up at Eito's dialogue when he gave up that one time. That was really well written and had the perfect build up to it. :')
No overdone drama, just realistic struggles shown in a realistic pace. And every plot device used is NOT overstaying it's welcome. It's used just the right amount or with other stuff that makes it work perfectly fine.
I love the characters, the dialogue is great and the art and writing in general well done.

Definitely highly recommended!

The art, the writing of the dialogue and story, the characters, everything is just so good in this comic~.
The only thing I would say is irking me is that the poor coworker didn't end up being a friend to them/having the lie cleared up. I would have loved for the three of them to be friends and be able to talk casually. Tho the choice is understandable from an irl point of view.

One way or another, i think this is VERY much worth reading.
It's realistic in many ways, wholesome and sweet, adorable and funny, yet also has it's dose of seriousness and sad moments and even a bit of drama (but NOT overdone to make it annoying or drag the plot). Just an allround nicely written story and characters.

Definitely worth reading, so give it a go. :)

Don't get me wrong, the story is interesting. But I'm not a fan of the writing of this one.
The start of the story is entirely jumbled, ch 0 feels like actual random one shots, feeling as if you read chapters inbetween chapters and after missing a whole bunch that give you literally ANY info. To the characters, the setting, etc.. It's just info after info getting thrown at you, as if you should already know who the person is or have read their back story. Which doesn't seem to be the case given there is only a sequel listed on MU.
Just not a fan of this type of writing that just bombards you with info and you're left to just take it.
The overall story is interesting but people who prefer a good flow of story without being left to wonder here and there might not exactly enjoy it.

Give it a go, but be warned that there are issues with the flow of the story.

I tend to forget just how good an author Scarlet Beriko is, until I re-read one of the comics, then I'm very much reminded again. XD

Beriko just has a way to make anything interesting. No matter the people or overall story portrayed, there is always something worth reading for. Especially since this is one of the few authors who doesn't make things predictable, even if you've read lots of BL.

The art is, of course, immaculate as always. Lots of beautiful shots and angles. <3
The story well written in terms of overall plot and dialogue, tho I think it would have been nicer to have them more seperated or detailed. It feels like an inbetween of 3 stories, making me think I missed reading a whole comic for the childhood friend and the classmate in love.
HOWEVER, since so much other character stories are in this, it actually enhances the story for me. It feels like an actual world we are entering as opposed to the usual: Here's two dudes, this is the side mob, now see them talk and interact.
Which, I honestly think is a genius move many old-school authors from japan did. Not just for world building but because this means each comic is worth reading because you know more info about another good couple is in there that you might also like. Hats off for that idea. It really makes me miss the old 10 chapter format for comics. Since this is just not do-able for the modern popular 50 or 100 chapter webtoons. XD

I like the story and characters very much. The age gap thing of the friend's couple might not be something some people like, but for me it wasn't an issue. It DOES enhance the plot in it's own way, seeing there actually being characters with an active involvement and own life in the story. Really. So I appreciate them being in there just for that, honestly.

Give it a go, the main story itself is really lovely and the art a great match for the writing skills. Worth a re-read for me personally (which i have done multiple times over the years tbh.)

Lovely art, good storytelling and both characters are endearing in their own ways.
The only issue I have is that the falling in love part was rather randomly quick. I wish that part was done a little more carefully so we can see the other person catch feelings.
It's still a good read however! The details and dialogue as well as emotions in general are done well. Makes it worth re-reading I'd say. :)

Them cutting off the dialogue makes me think my theory about Guwon not being human and responsible for the mess at hand (likely keeping it under control) is even more likely now.
If he was just a regular human, the world situation would NOT be altered. Maybe the town's, but not the world. (Asuming of course that this choice of words wasn't a translation error.)

Yeah, but I was wondering if it was the world, or their world.

The art is amazing and the characters lovely, BUT this story definitely has a bad flaw in writing for me personally.

I didn't care much for the elongated part of them setting up the new shop and 'working'. Simply because we didn't actually SEE anything of interest regarding the job, which is literally the interesting part of this story setup!, we basically were just told the technicalities about management aspects. Which I for one do really NOT care for. It's boring, uninteresting and makes me want to start to flip pages until they stop talking about it. It would have been so much more interesting seeing them transform the shop, accomplish finding new customers and Ubuki blooming in his work and being enthusiastic and whatnot. THAT is what the setup suggested would happen, but instead it focused on management talk and romance progress in a mild way.
Just hearing about the management on paper, basically, was really boring. If you work with a setting, then it's best to actually actively use it. Especially if the story setup is: I can't get customers for my tailor shop.
Why literally skip ALL of the 'finally getting customers' aspect, which is a huge accomplishment and basically treat it like irrelevant background happenings, like a TV channel talking about the weather while characters are talking?
That just didn't sit well with me and it made the story boring despite both characters being interesting, their dynamic being lovely and them both having a passionate side that brought them together. I would have preferred actually SEEING their accomplishments instead of having them mentioned as a sidenote here and there.
It's especially strange the author chose to write like this given in the end (Theo's background story) the author shows they CAN very well write in detail about the surroundings of the character. I would have loved seeing that for the tailor shop aspect as well, given it's the title of the comic. That's what I came here for after all. ╥﹏╥

Don't get me wrong, it IS a good story, just not likable in terms of just hearing technicalities instead of seeing them accomplish things or actually working.
Anyone going into this hoping to see a person flourish in their job and show passion will likely not be pleased with how the story goes. Maybe even find the title misleading since it suggests it's about the tailor shop and hence the work there, whereas it's really just mainly about them talking about management.
I for one don't care for stuff like that, so I'm honestly disappointed. People who don't care or like technical talking only but no job being shown will surely like it I guess tho. So it's a case by case thing, depending on personal preference.

With that all in mind, check it out and see if you like it.
