can't you say it nicely? now translator wants to stop translating because of the negative comments. like say that it would be better if it was different or smth, but using phrases like 'ticking me off' is just disrespectful and rude. did you translate it? no. the translator wanted to make this more enjoyable for the readers, thus they coloured it in. it may have not worked, but ppl like you are making them question themself.
No, I can't say it nicely. If they want to stop translating because of all the "negative comments" then so be it. Coloring another person's artwork is rude. If they were planning to recolor someone else's art they should have expected the negativity from the readers who love the author's style.
