tbh i still don’t get why ian was confused about his feelings and needed distancing from gunnie?? was he jealous of the fact that his classmates were getting closer to gunnie or the fact that gunnie could easily get his classmates to accept him and stuff…help need clarification please ╥﹏╥
idk if this will helps you understand ian's feeling bettter but i see it like this: you know that feeling when you have a book that only you can understand. you feel so special because others can't read it like you do. but they become curious about it and try to understand it better. now that book is open for everyone to read and that makes you not so special anymore.
i think ian wants those sides of gunnie to be seen only by him. he realized how toxic it is that's why he wants distance from gunnie.

i was a bit skeptical when i saw the cover, thought it was some stereotypical buff top and smoll innocent bottom but it was different!! there’s lore and everything it’s rlly good, the slow burn was a hit just how i like it to be! wish there was more tho like a side story :’)
i’ve reread this so many times i love sign SO so much it’s the perfect amount of fluff and smut plus the characters are created so well it’s very expressive in a sense(?) idk how to explain lol but it’s my most favourite bl ever
