So true. He doesn't hesitate to kill. Actually he likes to kill. And always has plans up his sleeves. But at glance he alway seems fine .
If I had to put Sangwoo in a category (although that's always hard to do, be it in real life or with fictional characters) I'd say he is a sociopath.
The fact that Kang Moo is a psychopath makes him more dangerous than (people like) Sangwoo, because he doesn't act without planning everything out thoroughly which makes it more likely for him to actually get away with the things he does. There is also the fact that he is 100% aware of the fact that he is a psychopath and is embracing it. More or less. He did seem to have tried to find a 'cure' previously but only because he noticed how his behavior affects those around him, not because it scares him personally. And as we see, now he is actually using it to his advantage.

Where Kang Moo doesn't have enough emotions, Sangwoo has too many. And he is unable to curb his instincts. Kang Moo said, he likes to kill, but he is rational enough to know he WILL get caught sooner or later if he acts on it, so he held himself back successfully. And when he finally does give in, he does it in a way that makes it pretty hard for law enforcement to actually get him for it even if they KNOW fully well, what he is and what he is capable of.
In comparison things turned to shit pretty fast for Sagwoo once someone discovered what he likes to do in his pasttime. Where he is just abusive af and using threats when need be, which comes back to bite him in the ass, Kang Moo manipulates those around him.
He doesn't even have to lie. Kirin knows what he is dealing with and he still sticks with him regardless. And Kang Moo doesn't have to abuse him physically to get him to stay with him.
That's really what makes him so much more dangerous than Sangwoo IMO. A little manipulation goes a long way if you're good at it. Much more effective than simple violence.
(It's also the difference between Jin Guangyao and Xue Yang in MDZS. And the reason why the first was capable to fly under the radar for so long while still doing evil things while the latter had a well-known reputation for being a deliquent [that they used the word deliquent for the murderer of a whole clan still makes me laugh. I can only guess, the original chinese expression made him sound a bit less like a unruly teenager in highschool and more like the crazy killer he actually is lol])
The only time Kang Moo loses control is when he is in bed with Kirin. Or just when he has Kirin under him. lol. BTW, love your explanation. Couldn't have compared better. (︶︿︶)
