i think that it was the mangaka's style to open the story in the perspective of a third wheel to make more impact and conflicted feelings? also for it to appear "twisted" or to stand out in the world of S&M

Nice?! Because forcing someone you 'care' about to give you a blow job is 'nice'? He does some horrible things which the mangaka under plays. He's even awful in the sequel too.
Well he really did love shirahane although he's a coward. But i did not say his personality is nice i meant to say his "role" as the predicament
