Reading this manhwa was like digging a hole and watching yourself fall into it. You know how it will end, you expected it but you still went on all the while expecting hurt. There was never any feeling of pretense in the way the author wrote this and I love it. It never gave me any false hope that they would stay together forever but I kept reading on. Maybe because they set a deadline, they decided earlier on that there would be an end so I expected the same(as I should lol). What I was interested in was how the author would end it.

...SPOILERS from this point on!

I certainly had a flashback of “Hotarubi no Mori He” when I saw their ending. I don’t know about other people but I love that the author used the falling-from-the-stairs situation again. Using that, I felt that it was complete. Jun was so hurt at the fact that he couldn’t catch her even when he was in a position where he could have had he been alive. It was a great representation of their relationship and how they both changed from two people who were both suffering from different kind of loneliness to the two who fought, survived and changed together. More than any scenario where their change was noticed, I feel like I have realized their growth at that one particular moment the most. I didn’t cry but I certainly think that this was a beautiful read.
