What mafuyu needs now is time and some professional attention to his mental health, as well as organization of his thoughts. As much as I want them and Uenoyama to be together, it's a tad earlier for that and right now, I don't think he's ready to fully commit himself to a relationship with Uenoyama. I get it that he's trying his best to move on but he's dragging Uenoyama with him and with that Uenoyama gets hurt as well. The two of them should talk, sort out their feelings, communicate fully, then try their relationship again for it to work. Hiiragi is also a bit of as asshole for making Uenoyama finish that song. Everyone's just slappping to Uenoyama's face that Yuki is a big presence that he can never overcome, that must've hurt like hell.
I haven’t seen Uenoyama get hurt at all..... there was a time when he wanted to be with Mafuyu more while he was taking his supplemental classes while Mafuyu was learning more about music from Ugetsu. But so far..... Uenoyama and Mafuyu have been happy when they are together.... this story arc regarding Yuki’s song and Uenoyama spending a lot more time in Hiragi’s band are putting a strain with his relationship with Mafuyu is what frustrates me more.
This manga is so amazing!! If you look closely in different angles, furudate-sensei wrote this beautifully and I would never stop talking about how wonderful this is. The analogies, how their journeys are made, how everything ended up being that way, and most importantly the storyline and the character building, everything is so complex and full of meaning, and lessons and scenarios that doesn't only apply to this manga or sports but for the readers as well. I will forever treasure haikyuu and i'll never forget the feeling of reading and watching this masterpiece. Watching haikyuu was the best decision i've ever made, and being able to understand through my perspective and from the views of other people who discuss it is a blessing as well.
THANK YOU SO MUCH FURUDATE-SENSEI!!!!
