Nah pope is the mastermind behind everything until now, the pink bish and ex guy are just his pawns. Buth of them are in prison btw and I believe ex is going to be executed coz he basically did treason by selling country info to another.

Hold up hold up you mean the little girls big brother, and I've looked over the chapters and he hasn't done anything against her, in fact he cares about her, it's going to be executed without any redemption? I mean the fact that he cares about his little sister who despite being illegitimate, he still cared a lot for and you know she's all mad at him but that's still her brother. I'm sorry but, a little sister doesn't deserve to lose her big brother. He really does care about her. I've read the whole thing, and even in the book, it talks about how hurt he was that she started to hate him. He still wanted to protect her and he didn't know that she was about to be kidnapped or hurt. That was happening behind his back. He thought his fiance, the pink hair girl wasn't going to hurt his little sister. So now I feel bad for the guy. After all, I mean he was ruthless but the death penalty? That's a little far

His punishment has nothing to do with his sister. He's in prison and on the way to execution because he sold confidential imperial information, thats treason, on top of that he stole valuable items from the magic tower and attempted murder. Thats way more than enough reason to get a death penalty. Also i honestly dont agree with the whole "he cares and loves his sister so much", coz even tho its true he didnt know pink bish will put her in danger, he still is a bad person. He is not a redeemable character just becoz he cares a bit for his sister. He has done wrong and evil stuff and needs to pay for it. Sympathizing for a character who wanted mc dead? I dont think so, not to forget he did all this in og story too yet got away with it and got a happy ending with the pink bish. If it hurts him that his sister has started hating him then thats all his fault, I wouldn't want a brother like that either, the sister cares and loves mc very much and even at her age she knows her brother did mc wrong. Idk if he will be really executed but he atleast needs to loose everything, his family/noble title and kept in prison for life.

I think this leads to more of a realist historical setting to this though. We know from history that this type of situation of puppet kings being set on a throne & ruling. Then being exterminated & a new lineage coming from the usurper. Its sad that often these kings would not learn until they had grandkids of their own as they get older they look at death & try to repent. We even see this happen when Carnegie whom was a very wealthy man stepped over so many in a vicious way to make his money but then as he got older began to donate & help others. Its why we still have the Carnegie Trust today.
