She was a horrible mother but also a teen mom that lost all her freedom in a blink of an eye bc that's what society expected of her not bc she wanted it, let's just focus on her wanting to change. she already received the consequences of her actions.

I agree with everything your saying and I would like to add on, the reason why she became depressed and started playing was because her whole life, she studied and learnt how to do everything a man can do and more, like she can speak 4 languages, but when she married they didn't want her do anything and she wasn't free and was restricted which led to her depression and partying.

Also, I noticed how when she was pregnant, no one asked her how she really felt about it, instead they just kept controlling her actions so "it wouldn't hurt her child" or so "her child could grow well". As soon as she became pregnant, no one gave a damn about her anymore and it was all about her unborn child, who many thought was more valuable than her. So upsetting!
