I'm seeing so many comments saying they wish this was BL/GL and let's be real, if it weren't straight it wouldn't be as good. the true appeal of this is seeing the gender roles present but reversed at the end of the day. the crown prince being this untouchable powerful man reduced to a whimpering puppy begging to be punished by a lady of no remarkable background from a poor noble family, it just goes so strongly against the typical otome isekai/rofan
Whew, honestly a great story, very cohesive. the author is a great writer and completed every character's story perfectly, excluding the real historical characters, of course. My favourite part was Lady Oscar's and André's story from start to finish, it was sooo good and tragic, the comparison with Castor and Pollux...so perfect. And i must admit that they really tried to make me sympathize with the royal family but as a spanish republican I'd rather die than sympathize with a Bourbon or any royals, for that matter lol. Still, a great story and really deserving of being called a classic and cult manga. 10/10.
