i really, really love this manga––and anything from this author, at that (that's my hint to read raise wa tanin ga ii, people). falling in love with your late younger sister's ex-fiancé is practically taboo yet not. haru no noroi shows us why it isn't in the most realistic and raw way possible. i have a younger sister, and putting myself in haru's place, i could never. it will probably be difficult for them for the rest of their lives. but touga, someone who was never really able to make his own decisions throughout his whole life, shows us how fickle-minded it is to live life for others. although i wished there was more, the abrupt and bittersweet ending shows us that this is the moment where natsumi and touga finally start to live for theirselves, all things in the past left behind.
