I really like that Ibelin is a product of her environment, and that she had come to the realization of her own self. It is much more refreshing than the "You took what's mine!" motivation. It's almost pitiable, because she has only been existing, unbeknowingly following a novel from another world.
I need daddy to wake up and fight these MLs. For the comic relief.
I enjoy this.
But I can already see some heeeavy possibilities ahead-- for example, if MC successfully gets away and breaks ML's heart then he will be bitter about golddiggers and end up the way he was in the novel.
I mean. I guess that is a possibility, but seems a but out of character for the author to do. This story straight up follows the cliches, so it's mostly going to be comedy and romance with the serious moments being short lived and often times shallow. We're here for the fluff and not for an actual well thought out plot.
I mean. I guess we could be surprised later down the road by a truly well written story with deep character development and a dark plot, but it's no good to hope for it. Keep your expectations at the cheap romance level and you either enjoy the story, or be presently surprised and love the story, but wanting more from it then it's already given is just asking for disappointment.
We were blessed with a nice Arth x Naska moment. XD I know its tryna build up Naska's jealousy, but really. I want Rebecca x Naska x Sasha x Arth. OT4,,ez. They need to live in a nice house all together and be happy.
