just IMAGINE the power this manga would hold if it was a full color bl. because even as black and white i'm falling all over this plot and art and characters. i would've been crushed multiple times if something this beautiful was colored every panel. especially arochi's hair and eyes. and the rockets. and the clear blue sky over saegusa and arochi. it would've been otherworldly.

i kinda (only barely!) get why rion just kept masaki alongside tho he knew masaki was deeply in love with him. like he said, as a brat (and as an adult, imo) he had/has a superiority complex bc popular and handsome masaki has feelings for HIM.

to top that off, rion wasn't aware of his own feelings to masaki, bc he was convinced he was still in love with his gf at that time. he did say multiple times (to others and to himself) that rika was his priority, his no.1, his only love. so even tho he was aware of masaki's feelings, he kept quiet abt, cuz think abt it. your bff has feelings for you but you're happily dating someone else. would you just call your bff one day and go "haha yeah i know you got the hots and the blues for me but i can't reciprocate" like?? it was the same for rion. it would've brought tension and awkwardness between them two.

i really dont like the way he confessed tho. it wasn't... assertive enough to me. and like, he went on about having feelings masaki all this time (ten years???) when he'd actually broken up with rika only two years ago. like yeah, you came to realize your own feelings but you've been a terrible coward. stringing along rika and masaki..... welp. good thing masaki still thinks of rion as his true love lmao
