Spoilers are based on poorly translated and view of chapters in a language I have zero knowledge of, so I am pretty confident that I still missed a lot about the story and it won't spoil your enjoyment of the wonderful translation above...

Careful what you wish for. There's a very good story here and some are missing. Not judging, I read a ton of stuff for the smut but when I find something great I rejoice in it.
Wonje brutalizes Heun. He makes Seungho look like a saint by comparison. Seungho hurt NK and drowned in guilt. Seungho miscalculated the ability his pleasure giving would have to overcome NK's resistance. He didn't set out to hurt him.
Wonje loves Heun so selfishly and how he feels is so foremost to him that even when he seeks to give Heun pleasure it is with reckless disregard to Heun's safety and life. He is an emperor through and through and has no compunction or conscience when he is getting what he wants.
The next two chapters will be interesting.
There is a reason the horrible things that come out of Jaryung's mouth come out. These were the actual actions that Wonje followed through with. Jaryung doesn't recall those actions but once a situation arises that mimics the past, Jaryung gets the inclination to repeat or to blurt out an act that Wonje committed.
Wonje only held back once he felt pain at seeing Heun suffer, and by that point he had done irreparable damage to Heun. Knowingly. Because he was addicted to the illusion of attaining Heun's affection. He didn't care when warned that he would kill Heun if he kept feeding him an aphrodisiac, he cared only that he could pretend that Heun loved him back.
He is also the reason that Jaryung doesn't repeat his mistakes. He starts to but something holds him back. Wonje.
Too late he snapped out of his insanity. Yes, I don't think it will surprise anyone to learn that Wonje was the one held by insanity. And he was consumed with regret.
The first time, he takes Heun in their previous life, it is humiliating and violent. He does it in front of Heun's people as act of revenge, I guess, once he thinks that Heun has played with him and he doesn't stop.
it is so tragic because I think Heun loved him or was starting to. But Heun had a dark secret: his brother was in love with him and had raped him. He rejected Wonje (because of this), who actually backed off at the time, but Heun's brother tried to rape him once more, Heun ran away and Wonje witnessed what he thought was Heun frazzled after meeting some unknown lover (Heun was covered in hickies and struggling to adjust his clothing). Wonje lost his f'ing mind after that and it seems he only regained some semblance of it after it was too, too late.
I have this site that splits the existing chapters down more so it says it is 95 chapters (I think actual series ends at chapter 52) and I think these chapters are probably only up to 40 or so. I know this because I site that is now gone was a few chapters ahead of this. They haven't updated in a while but this is the site that has the most chapters that I could find.

Also follow it on Toonkor. They just started adding it on June and are all the way up to 22. I think this will be the only site accessible that will reach the end.

Hi guys,
Bear with me for a minute (spoilers of future chapters included).....
Proceed with caution....

.............................................................
There is a thought that has been nagging me and this is just speculation so please note that I am fully aware I could be wrong...but I think Miha might be the son of Geum's father (white haired guy with the long nails).
I have tried to dismiss this thought for awhile because I first put this together when I saw Sowha's father reaction to him and saw that as very similar to his reaction and treatment of Miha, and also because Miha looks like him. The last part make me dismiss this because these are drawings so the artist will use their art to convey emotions in similar ways through different characters and in the case of Dispar, Geum's father, Miha and Black Haired boy (sorry I can't seem to bother remembering their names) have very similar facial expressions because they are the characters that appear to have less control of their emotions or express more vulnerability than others.
But in later chapters (here be the spoilers) we find out a bit more about Sowha's father and Geum's father's relationship. I can't believe Sowha's father is the Bottom. As much as Sowha's father can turn cruel to Geum's father, he lets out hints about how much he cares for him in between.
Geum's father is a drug addict. And there seems to be a very painful past between them. Sowha's father's mask of the tough guy slips for a second when he sees the needle marks running down his arm and he remarks upon it while Geum's father appears touched but also like a man that's just lost hope a long time ago. Jeon (Sowha's father) also notes that he (white haired guy) is taking medications hinting
to a possibly life threatening, if not terminal illness.
Sowha's father does everything he can to make their encounter painful like he is reminding himself that he can't fall into pitying, softening towards or loving Geum's dad again.
And that's when they speak about their re encounter many moons ago in France. It is hinted that this is around the time he found Miha. And many things clicked again.
Though their relationship is sexual, Jeon's treatment of Geum's dad mimics his treatment of Miha. He looks at them with the same contempt with the exception that he is not attached to Miha.
There might be something about their sons, the four boys involved: Sowha, Geum, Miha and Black Haired boy, are tied for some reason. Black haired boy and Miha are both 27, while Sowha and Geum are both 20.
Geum's father shows Jeon a photo of black haired boy which could just mean that he is giving him up as the culprit of Sowha's stabbing but unless there is an issue with the translation, Geum's father mentions something about 1972 before handing over the envelope holding the boy's picture to Jeon.
If it wasn't for the mention of the year I would have concluded that Jeon was angry because of the stabbing alone but it seem to be telling him of something else that only Geum's father and Jeon know of (perhaps the boy too).
I don't know. It is all speculation but something may not be straightforward about the boys' prominence. At least that's what it appears to hint
Doopdoop was it you that had a talk with me it Miha may not be related to Sohwa at all? I remembered having a conversation a few times and there were many reasons but I can only remember a few. When someone as asked me to explain I can only say what I remembered. :-/
I picked up one it because of the comments about his mother and he looks nothing like them.
Miha is 28.
But I don’t remember talking about if Geum’s father was Miha’s real father. If we talked about it, we did not talk about that. We just have to wait and see.
I am not sure. I may have put up this idea looooong ago but I certainly don't think I am the only one that thought of this. I just didn't want to give that idea too much credit due to just the facial similarities/expressions in those characters because it could just be the art style.
What kept bothering me were the similarities in treatment and responses to Geum's dad from Jeon. It just feels like the same treatment of Miha. It was also very bitter too. Like how I imagined he would react towards Miha's mom.
About the age thing, I mixed it up with Black haired boy. I just confirmed it. His age shows up in a chapter where the character bios with ages are noted. All I know is that I thought it was significant because they are so close in age and for some reason I keep thinking that boy's vendetta may run much deeper than just revenge. I think his life is hinted as brutal (sex slave) but something broke the dam in him and Jeon's reaction to his picture in a future chapter -- I don't know, may be I am thinking too much of it.
But really it is just the bitterness Jeon secretes from every pore when in White Haired guy's presence that gives me a sense that Miha is the personification of what was between them. And Jeon meeting him in France once again and long ago, just reinforced that for me.
Again, just a theory to chew on til we get some real answers.
That's what I thought. That black haired boy is Jeon's son.
Jeon treats Miha like he is an affront and someone he was saddled with, and it is clear he is rabidly angry with whoever he hails from and taking it out on Miha for good measure.
Now, does this mean that Jeon screwed his own son? That scene when some of Chungha's backstory was shown pretty much suggested that. Oh my...where's my throw-up emoji?
He also acts a lot more like Sohwa while Miha, Geum and Ryong (I guess that's Geum's father's name) have a running vulnerability (despite how ruthless Ryong is, I think that's attributed to a harsh life rather than just plain meanness).
It is like despite what environment they came from they can still show kindness (except for Ryong - I think he leveled up long ago into the monster we see - all you get from him is a sense sadness and melancholy for what never was).
That's what I am thinking. I think Miha might be Ryong's kid from when both Jeon and Ryong were in France. Those two are really into each other as shown in later chapters but they have a lot of bitterness towards one another. Whatever happened between them, neither one can seem to let it go.
I think Miha may have been one insult too many for Jeon and somehow he was saddled with him, making the bitterness that much worst and Miha's life a living hell.
I am guessing Chungha was a product of a fling of Jeon as a way to excise Ryong from his life and somehow Ryong got a hold of him and he continue to play the games he is known and resented for.
I wouldn't be surprised if those two killed each other as the only way that they could be happy together would be through that.
Also their ages were revealed as 52 and 50 which surprised me as I thought they would be in their forties yet this gives them plenty of room to have children Miha's and Chungha's age. I just didn't see them as teenage parents after all. The way Miha and Chungha have been treated takes deliberate cruelty not reckless teenage carelessness.
I am not sure who miha father is but I don’t think it is Jeon. I just think he is not related but I could be wrong But May because of his real name either the mother or father or both could be foreign. Miha real name is Michael. Not a Korean name. And he does not know his mother. It seems Jeon had him at a early age. They have his birthday as 1/1 because they don’t his real birthday. Jeon uses 1/1 and that is why his is 1/1. But his real birthday is 5/9. Jeon’sreal birthday is 12/10.
Interesting.
Chapter 27 is translated in Spanish but that Spanish is too Spanish for me (meaning from Spain) and they have ways of saying things that might as well be another language for me.
It leaves off with Ryong handing Jeon Chungha's picture in an envelope and before he opened it saying something about '72 (which to me implies a year - could be wrong) but I did not understand the phrase used to frame it. Like I said, very Spanish lingo so couldn't figure it out. It sounded like he was reminding Jeon of something that happened within that phrase due to Jeon's alarmed response.
I definitely am in the boat that Jeon isn't the daddy. I just figured that somehow he grabbed him as either penance or as his responsibility and came to regret that choice every single day of his life.
I can't remember if it is hinted at the beginning that he took/bought Miha from his mother after he had been with her for a bit (maybe toddler age). Miha seems to have no recollection or at least yearning for someone else that raised him before.
I know he has a foreign name and foreign looks. In Spanish, Chungha refers to him disdainfully as "mestizo" (mixed blood) which is funny since this term is used specifically in Spanish to refer to the mixing of European and Indian (native to the Americas) blood, in other words the offspring residing in most of Latin America.
Again, this was a hint that Chungha's reaction and attack is tied to finding out who's offspring he really is. He looks down on the foreigner "son" and sees himself as superior to him being fully Korean.
So glad to have this story back.
Commentary with some spoilers for current season's chapters...

.....................................
I love how Seungho is pretending he got himself another mistress while he actually got himself a "boyfriend". Loved how he lost it when NK said: "I like...My Lord..." just those words got him to drop his jealousy and he banged NK into Heaven.
He complains about NK's inability to "give" while he loves "receiving" and it is clear in that moment that he is trying to hide his bitterness at not "discovering" NK's true motivations for staying behind with him. He still thinks that NK is doing this for Inhun but because SH is unaware of what happened between Inhun and NK that last day, he can't quite read NK.
NK's newfound pleasure in SH's arms and his decision to "give" himself to him while in despair at his heartbreak over Inhun are giving mixed signals to SH. NK's sudden loss of inhibitions and acceptance of SH's attentions is something he really, really wanted and it pisses him off to no end that he can't quite put his finger on NK's motivations because NK's surrender is blinding him.
This is also provoking the taunts he throws at NK.
I think SH is very sure about what he feels for NK. I think he knows that he loves him but he is still jealous of Inhun, suspicious that NK is sacrificing himself for that trash, offended NK would consider him a "sacrifice" to be made and angered that NK isn't better at reading his signs: the attention he gives him, the fact that he has listened to NK and set out differentiate NK from the servants and raise his standing, the unbelievable truth that he has not sought anyone but NK since before they had started to sleep together again. Which kinda proves to me that his debauchery after he f%^$&# NK into a coma was due to his guilt and inability to face NK at the time.
He wants NK to come to the realization of those changes and attentions but like SH himself told us, he is not very patient and add jealousy and the history between them to the mix and his behavior becomes clear.
NK in turn, has started to become more aware and open to SH. He is still quite unsure of what SH wants from him and sees his situation as not of his choice but the lot he has and deserves (thanks, Inhun). But Inhun did NK a favor by brutally removing NK's blinders when it came to him and now NK is able to see some of the things that SH does that take away some of his villainy.
I think NK was attracted to SH from early on and so was SH but his love for Inhun (and Inhun's prejudice towards relations between men), his youth and earnestness in that love immediately made SH a villain, even before he became one (I know he killed that servant - but going with the times, he probably had every right to do that) to NK.
And SH is right, NK is using him but for himself rather than Inhun. To forget himself and his heartbreak in the pleasure that SH is so good at. I think SH would be ok with that as long as he had a chance to change NK's mind and make him see him favorably and romantically.
And this is the reason SH is adamant in forcing NK to be by his side (especially now that Inhun is out of the picture - at least for now). He knows this "relationship" started fucked and he can't erase the past. He is trying to use this time to convince NK to be with him and he wants NK's love.
Seungho is in love with NK and fully aware of it.
This is everything and I don't get how people don't see that but to some once a villan always a villan. I just hate how people compare him to sangwoo he is irredeemable but Seungho can be and is showing that even though it's small steps he is getting better. Also I agree in this era servants can be killed for any transgressions against a noble.
I think the comparison to Sangwoo is very superficial. Both Sangwoo and Seungho are extremely popular characters and that's where that comparison ends. Genres, personalities, deeds, everything is different.
Seungho can do a number of things based on his status alone that are reprehensible today but were considered his right as a noble. Until I am shown a basement full of mutilated and dismembered bodies showing us Seungho's "hobbies" than this comparison to Sangwoo should be disregarded.
Whatever trauma Seungho carries at his father's betrayal, it was not as severe as it would have to be to create someone like Sangwoo, a human being that has systematically witnessed and been subjected to brutal abuse from early on in life.
Seungho seems to have been pampered and treated with kid gloves until his father used him to cover whatever plot he had been involved in. If this was not the case, then Seungho's temperament and will alone are so strong that he built that confidence and pride from scratch.
Don't let those comments bother you. The impact Sangwoo caused for people making those comparisons is their own. You are not losing your mind, they are just really taken by him. That's make him a great character. But Seungho doesn't need that comparison, he is great on his own.
I think authors would only be annoyed if they are harassed over it but if it is just a comparison they are better equipped than anyone to see that there is just a lack of critical thinking in the people seeing these two characters as similar or the same.
Seungho is not even in a category that could relate to a character like Sangwoo.
Serial killer and sexually decadent nobleman that may have some traumatic past that has helped put him in crisis doesn't quite jive.
Seungho sought to make NK his, first on a whim (as a joke) and ended up playing himself, liked NK to the point of working himself into a frenzy and raping him all while seeking to experience their first time again. I don't get the sense after Seungho's haunted expression after forcing NaKyum in the pavillion that this kind of cruelty was something he was used to doing to others.
So, no. They are not even remotely similar
Sucks to be Seungho and know how Na-Kyum looks when he is in love while giving himself to you but to also know that that love wasn't directed at you. That's the reminder drilled into him every time he sleeps with Na-Kyum now.
