Hi...just finished watching Kuroshitsuji (the first anime series, the one with 24 ep) and I wanna start the second series (the one with the new 2 characters, the blond kid and spider-butler)...but...please, can someone tell me what's going on?I mean, at the very end of the first series Seb-chan bought Ciel in that remote "island" and he ate his soul, right? so...the second series of the anime and also all of those "special" ep are some kind of "flashback" of the actual story-line right?
ps: I wanted to wait before reading the manga, simply 'cause I was waiting for the end eheh buuuuuuuuuuuuuuut....I'm kinda interested 'cause in the anime all ended like it was supposed to be...my question is:
is the anime soooooooo far ahead of the manga or the part where Seb is suppose to eat Ciel's soul is in the manga and it just didn't happen?

We don't talk about the second season. The second season has no relation to the manga whatsoever. It's completely non-canon. Ciel never turns into a demon and Sebastian has yet to devour his soul. Watch season 1 (Everyone should skip season 2) and move onto the book of circus and then followed after, the book of murder. That's where it picks up again.
The anime is not farther than the manga.
