ive never seen so much hatred for the ml when there are so many worse ml out there lol god he just yelled at her and sure he hurt her feelings but im pretty sure most of us has been yelled at in the heat of the moment. he didnt threaten her, beat her, ignore her, neglect her, shame her, or anything like that but everyone is so quick to jump to the gun... he's the ml for gods sake oml if you dont like him just drop the story, theres no way they wont end up together!

He tore up the things she was about to give to Blanche because every other time she gave her something it was to try to kill her. He obviously don’t know she’s a different person. Of course it will look hella suspicious if she suddenly nice and trying to get along with everyone.
He ignores her and don’t like to be in the same room not because it specifically her. It’s because he have a fucking trauma and women trigger that for him.
Even if he was rped by previous queen , he has a trauma of touching woman's like imagine it ... would u let go of your trauma so easily? And fyi she wasn't that much of a good person before reader jump into her body . She didn't like Blanche or tried to understand his fears and etc. So ofc it is hard for him to accept that shes different from other abuser queen uwu . Even tho he's changing bit by bit , so dont be so harsh on him . Or u can just drop if u hate it this much.
Which is the reason why he did the things he did to Abigail. How th that is so hard to understand for so many people I will never know though. Also tearing up the doll was because he knew OG Abigail had used these kinds of things to hurt Blanche before. So people are complaining that he's not acting like a 'proper' father because he's ignoring Blanche (when actually he's ignoring Blanche precisely because he thinks it's the only way to prevent her from being hurt) then complaining when he IS acting like a 'proper' father by intervening when he thinks his wife is going to hurt his daughter. The whiplash people are giving me is dizzying.

Finally someone who gets it! Yes I know the OG Abigail had her own issues too but when she took out her frustration on someone innocent (Blanche) who had nothing to do with the cause of her issues (given that it was her sh!t father who was the issue) OG Abigail became almost as sh!tty as her father and the first queen to my mind. The king otoh is purely reacting to trauma and NOT going out of his way to deliberately treat someone in a manner that he, himself, views as sh!tty.
I understand Im just saying that the queen is not his match they don’t love each other and she will not soothe his trauma this isn’t really a romance so all I’m saying is if she wants a divorce she has a good reason to get one not everyone can handle someone with severe trauma and he should find a person that can handle and love him best.

id say romance will build later. i think the focus isnt romance just yet but breaking walls in this family. blanche will probably be a key figure here. everybody has their own opinion ig but i cant say they arent a match yet just cuz they dont love and understand each other. arent all people like that at first?

ok reread the chapter and you realize theirs a wanted poster there that must be foreshadowing something. either she wasnt killed by her husband but that guy with long hair OR she was killed by her husband previous time but this time she cant escape death either and that guy in the wanted poster will kill her. just my theories

the plot is a little broad like there is a loose focus on what shes doing to gain power behind the scenes so it may be confusing to some. tho if this is confusing, your throne and secret lady must boggle minds lol

yea true i wouldnt want her to trust him right away either but i just thought she was a bit too active about it? idk if im explaining myself well haha. like laying out possibilities of survival even if she ran away? hes strong so she cant beat him, hes probably fast as well so if he was really after her ass he'd probably catch up, and he has powers to get rid of those scary ass zombies. if she was really panicked or not trusting him, would she have clung onto him in the first place? i just find it odd that way

right off the bat i understand her personality. shes not good with strangers and shes reserved, not as emotional or friendly but that doesnt make her like those other bullies and she seems very easy going. like if she was a guy, nobody here would say oh hes a jerk.
