I started reading this today but isn't it obviously arth who poisoned him? Like a few chapters ago he took note the Emperor was the only one in the family that liked sweets, and he was studying herbs.
But I was a little too happy when he fainted
While I, too, felt it was Arth, I based that on his personal dealings with that incompetent spoiled brat Johannes, his disgust with the emperor and his talk with Payne trying to convince him to step up and fight for the throne to save the empire. I love when binge readers comment because everything is fresh in their minds. I’d forgotten about the sweets thing and studying herbs. That’s how he was able to poison just the emperor. My only thought now is if there was an accomplice, maybe Rebecca.
Now, Payne is looking like an emperor. He’s calm, authoritative and sensitive to the political issues this involves. At the same time, Arth is impressing the men around him by taking control of the internal investigation. All while the crown prince stumbles, falls, cries and calls names for people getting their priorities straight.
Considering Yuri has been in a somewhat infinite time loop whenever someone reads the story, will it not just start again after this one is over?
Personally I don't think so, because before Melissa she tried to change the story and it didn't work but Melissa already successfully changed it. My theory is that Yuri was the only one with awareness about loop, but because she is actually a character from the book, she cannot change the story. But Melissa (or more like the soul in body of Melissa) isn't actually from the book so that world can't force her to follow the story. And since it's already changed i think either the book changed too and this is the new story now or more likely the loop itself will broke at the end of the story and this reality will not be bound to the book anymore.
