I've never been so hyped for a manhwa, and it's not even a reincarnation one! The intrigue is on point and her whole character development is pure gold to watch. This is a comic where she could take over the kingdom and it'd actually be realistic. It so amazing that I keep rereading it even though there's less than 40 chapters out. I'm buzzing for Ebony's re-emerge to high society. She's an icon for all the women in this story, building upon her own knowledge and the ones before her (rest in peace teacher).
This story doesn't even need romance to keep the momentum going, although I'm not against it, as once as she doesn't become a housewife or something
Quite enjoyable tbh, really love Jim and all his antics. I wish we got to see the other coworkers reaction too.
However you can really tell our author isn't accustomed to romance. Like there was zero subtle growth of feelings and it seemed quite rushed.
I think it's unfortunate that webtoon companies such as Tapas go for romance all the time as its clear this author has potential elsewhere. Fun read nonetheless
I don't wanna justify her actions, because acting on feelings especially in such a precarious situation (in a completely different country, no family, etc) is never a good idea, but since they've had such little contact, I believe Mia's feelings are being forced by the book. That or she's brain dead cuz you never go for someone already married.
Also, regarding the imperial brother, I think he was either also reincarnated, or the novel itself is a different book altogether. Leana has no solid proof that this book is the one she knew, it could have been a spin off or fan fiction that she got reincarnated into. It would explain all the differences, as well as the presence of the brother and the tension between the church and the imperial family
I love how both of them are shy, so cute
