Ch. 40
A girl gets swooshed into a novel and attempts to save the villain of the story, ultimately falling in love with him despite not being his fated soulmate (but actually probably can be with him). An interesting premise from the author, but be forewarned that this webtoon is real dramatic, angsty, and depressing(ish), though all of that depends if you can tolerate the characters in the story.
The main character deviates quite a bit from the traditional badass, got-my-life-together, genius female lead and isekai protagonist that you often see these days. Rather, LJ (the MC) is a really empathetic and somewhat emotionally unstable girl who fumbles her way through her day-to-day, doing anything she can to "save" the male lead. Speaking of which, the ML is an interesting portrayal of the broken, possessive, and manipulative love interest in that the author doesn't try to hide how twisted he is as a person. Both characters are flawed, but being flawed is not always a sign of being likable or nuanced.
The main character's okay. IMO, LJ's empathy and emotional instability can be hard to appreciate or tolerate when other positive traits aren't highlighted. Although when reading in one sitting it is far easier to appreciate her (as you can kinda sink yourself into her emotional state), it is easy to become frustrated with her lack of decisiveness or awareness when her only thoughts concern how sad she is she can't be with the one she loves update after update. Her concerns are of course understandable, but her character can get annoying when she doesn't appear to have any personality outside of her love life's drama (in part because the only character she really interacts with is the ML, who only compounds these traits in the eyes of the reader). If she interacted with more characters and showcased a more sweet or positive side to her personality, I think her character would be far more tolerable.
The male lead is okay. He's manipulative and possessive, but his backstory is so thoroughly explored in the first chapters that you don't feel too bad about him (although I don't find him likable either).
The dynamic between the two is just an angsty, dramatic romance. Both are distinctly flawed and their relationship isn't healthy either, but I think this webtoon is your classic melodramatic, things-will-get-better-as-they-develop kind of story. Personally, I think this webtoon is fine is you're looking for angst (I've said that far too many times now) and I think it's got potential as one of those "twisted love" stories, just be ready to grit your teeth through some frustration. Hopefully, these characters develop because right now I can't root for anyone.

TL;DR: Butler is best boi. Everyone else is irrelevant.
