omg yes go off bisexual king
thats not what bisexuality is. that definition perpetuates the idea that bisexuals are transphobic. bisexuality is being attracted to more than one gender, just like pansexuality.
and the way that you said pansexuality "goes beyond" that kinda rubs me the wrong way bc it sounds like your saying bisexuals are less than pansexuals bc they only care about the "parts." bisexual ppl care about personality, just like gay, lesbian, and pansexual ppl
attracted to people of different genders = attracted to people regardless of gender. very similar things. im just trying to say he could be either
but.. bisexual literally means attracted to both man and woman, hence the prefix “bi” which means two. when i said it goes beyond i meant it as it doesn’t just stop at two genders. there are people who identify as non binary. non binary isn’t man or female therefore a bisexual wouldn’t necessarily be interested in them. whereas a pansexual who doesn’t look at gender or care about gender would be interested in them. that’s what i meant. i don’t know why you’re trying to give my words negative connotations, you’re just trying to make me seem wrong and you seem right. bisexuality and pansexuality are two different sexualities which shouldn’t be interchangeable. there’s a difference.
im not twisting your words, im telling you how they come off to me.
bisexuality does NOT stop at 2 genders. it is not binary in nature. it includes people of all genders bc gender is a spectrum. the "bi" refers to people of 1. the same gender as yourself and 2. different genders. it doesnt exclude transgender ppl.
you can identify as whatever you want, whatever makes you feel more comfortable. there is a distinction between the two sexualities, but they broadly overlap. i dont want to be pitting them against each other, bc both are equally valid.
since seung-chan hasn't said himself his sexuality i think its fair to say he could be either.
i don’t know what’s your definition of bisexual is, but whenever someone says their bi, it’s referring to liking both male and female. two genders. their own sex and the opposite sex. whenever someone says their pan, it means not limited to biological sex, gender, or gender identity. if what you’re saying is true, then what’s the point of having both sexualities if they mean the same thing?
regarding your last statement, i agree. he could he either bisexual or pansexual since he hasn’t clearly stated, however it is leaning more toward pansexual. again, their not interchangeable. a bisexual person is not a pansexual, however a pansexual is a bisexual. it’s the same as all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares.
HWI MY BABY I LOVE YOU SO MUCH
