Inquiring minds would like to know. Am I misreading that?
forget the documentary, the movie he was talking about was the one in the chapter before, about the guy in a extremely catholic family that finds out that he's actually gay (Ed watched it with McQueen's staff). In this movie's credits, it shows that the name of the person responsible for the scenario is called "Cleed Schreiber" (the name in the letter/the name he told to Ed. Also, in the beginning, McQueen told Ed that he came from a catholic family but realized he was gay because he wanted to mess his theology teacher up.
Back to the movie theater scene (after Ed&friends watch the movie about McQueen's life) I imagine that it might have meant a lot to Cleed when he criticized his own character (saying he was too complex and exaggerated) and Ed defended him staying that everybody has a reason to be the way we are and all... I'd have fallen in love with Ed in the same second (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ
Look, I think Chang and Edd would be hot as the next person, but there's also a part of me that recognizes that no yaoi manga is above the unwanted not rape (rape) scene. I really wish I didn't have to be so pessimistic, but I feel if Chang and Edd happened, it would be exactly as I described, unwanted not rape (rape) scene. And don't act like you know the scene. The ones where the uke vehemently denies but "really wants it".
personally want to see them work out their issues, have ed understand how much chang actually cares for him so poor baby doesn't have to think their relationship wasn't just in his imagination. Also wanna see how Chang admitting he's got the hots for someone works out. That's the whole appeal. Wanna see manly man Chang have some feels ok
I want McQueen and Ed's relationship to expand more. I don't like Chang for Ed. I think Chang liked Ed, and was jealous of Ed all at the same time. I think he had an epiphany when Ed was in that accident and Ed still had somebody left worried about him. I think he was jealous from that. Whatever Chang is, he is clearly TOXIC.
Very cliche tropes. The uke is so annoying, frustrating, and such a pushover. The Seme is very perceptive and dumb all at the same time. The art style changed drastically. Plus it's not yaoi at all it's shonen-ai. Glad I only read ten chapters.
