hahaha simply put- the relationship itself is icky to me. the way the seme treats the uke is really horrible and the uke whos a teacher just lets it happen ( i mean the assaults/ attempts at assault) . idk i dont find the characters likable, they all make questionable decisions. Than theres the fact that its a relationship between a teacher and student which i don't love but i know is super common in yaoi manga so i can kinda accept that. i can also see how the author attempted to have these characters in an kind of SM relationship but because these characters weren't written as respectful to each other its hard to even see it as anything but unhealthy.
Tbh I have no idea how they came to love each other. The story is kinda trash. There was no raw or real emotion and the logic just didn’t make sense. I wholeheartedly agree about the student x teacher trope. Though I can’t remember the name, there was this one manga that did that trope justice. The seme (teacher) waited until the uke (student) graduated and was of age, and their relationship was super pure and you could see all the steps in which they fell in love. Though it was still ify.

yo i hate the ml, like hes really sweet and all but this man faked all her achievements for a whole ass year. everything she worked up to was basically useless in the long run and was just so he could get close to her and make her leave the ambitions she had, to be a wife. she basically spent a year entertaining the ml. lord save me and the fact that this man lied to her even after they were married has me boiling. hes too selfish and obsessed, he doesn't even think of her well being and goals. she did not sign up for all that bs. but also she knew he was acting all weird but totally ignored it like 10 different time, i though the whole point in her being from a modern world was that she had all this knowledge and knew what the story was about sho she could use her wits to change stuff up for the better. i was really hoping that the government job would be real lmao and give us more world building and insight on how the story has changed or issues the mc now has because she changed shit up. BUT i also know/ recognize that the book shes in is like a romance novel so maybe im way over my head. i just expected the story to go in a different way. i thought that the hints about the ml and the thing we knew about the fl would lead to some big complication/ events but nope, everything that anyone has an issue with is quickly swept under the rug and forgotten other then the ex but no one likes him so ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ lol

As much as I find ML's action's to be ugly and incredibly mocking, I feel like there's a lot more worse thing he could've done that cannot EVER be forgiven for. As much as time cannot be replaced, losing a loved one is a lot worse than losing a year of your life. Or having your body permanently paralyzed.
Yes I thought that was quite sh*tty too. But he’s a literal demon, and she wasn’t super quick to forgive. I think if the knights hadn’t intervened, then she would have made him work harder for her forgiveness. I’m still hoping to see her lay some boundaries in light of that event, and see him earn forgiveness.
i feel like people are being a little too forgiving of the ml. he lied to her about her own achievements and who he really was. if i found out a significant other lied to me about anything as big as how i got my career or who they are, i wouldn't trust them or want to be with them.
